  2. Front passenger brake not releasing

    Was driving home the other day and felt resistance when I let off the gas. Stopped at a gas station and saw the passenger side front was smoking. Drove it home and parked it trying to figure out what could be causing this I just had new front brakes last August put on but it's been fine til now. Don't think it could be master cylinder because that would cause both to lock up right? Any ideas?

    Was wondering if it was anyone on here. Last night was at McDonald's in chesterfield, va and saw a nice blacked out SS had black wheels tinted headlights black bow tie and tinted led brake lights. Couldn't tell if the plates were out of state or va but was a nice truck.

    cool thanks ive heard good things about the pacesetters didnt know if there was something between them and the ARH that anyone has had good results with and have def been thinking about keeping stock exhaust behind it for a while til i save up for a corsa exhaust.

    Well ive got my CAI, 160 tstat, and black bear pcm installed finally and thinking of going headers next. Any advice on a decent set of long tube headers that arent crazy in price. Ive seen the pacesetters at like 275-300 is there anything more middle of the road that seems bottom end. Is getting the headers first a better idea rather than a cat back setup. What do you think?

    A before and after of my headlights. Had original funked up foggy to new and fresh. Also blacked my bowtie, thinking about brake ducts but I think I like the grey accent don't know if I want too much black?

    So just dropped her off at the dealership and after talking with the service manager they're gonna take care of everything and make it right!!! Super excited, I got the Cai hooked up and just got my blackbear pcm in the mail so I'll be swapping that as soon as I get it back!

    So i just got my email confirmation that me new volant CAI with scoop has been shipped and is on its way. Then about 20 mins later i get confirmation that my black bear PCM has been shipped as well. Cant wait to hook them up and see what kinda difference they make. I'm completely stock so hoping this will be a good start. Gotta go pick up a 160 t stat over the weekend any good recommendations?

    Thx guys I have a appointment with the service manager this week to see what all they will fix for me. Seems like they're gonna make it right cause I feel like if not they would've told me already and not set up me bringing it back in.

    So I've only had the truck a little over a week now. I took it to a friends shop so he could check it out for me. As far as running it runs great he even drove it and said it runs greats. Today he got it up on a lift to really get a good look at it and said it had some leaks he was worried about on the differential and some other places. Nothing bad I had it parked on concrete and not even a drip. Said the brakes are pretty close to done and exhaust has a leak that he is surprised it passed inspection. Also said there is rust that looks like they painted over on the undercarriage. Now my truck is a 05 sss with 98k miles all stock and from the dealer I paid 17k. It came with a 30 day 1000 mile warranty. Should I be freaking because my friend at the shop was like "do what you want but me personally I'd take it back and get my money". He said for what I paid for it that it shouldn't have all that wrong with it. I don't want to!!! Lol I love the truck but don't want problems and another expense I'd rather spend my money on performance not repairs. Hopefully the 30 day warranty covers some of it but who knows how the dealer will handle that. I know it's hard to gauge over a forum and a brief description...but should I feel like I bought a problem or is this not that big of a deal.

    Hey whats up everyone. My name is kyle im 30 from virginia. Just bought my black 2005 silverado SS today and i LOVE it. getting excited at the thought of everything i wanna do with it and looking at what others have done here with theres. Look forward to being a part of the community!
