  5. I would be in for a set for mine for sure. Don't like paying up front and waiting though... -Jeff ps at GM, we (I) designed the SS wheels first as a 20" & 22" staggered for the SEMA SS Silverado in 2000. Then I redesigned them with all the production bs for the production SSS. After that, we wanted a 6-spoke for a more euro-sporty look on the TBSS. When all is said & done, the TBSS wheels look a little better in a 22" on the SSS. I would love to have a set on my truck, probably in grey.
  6. Yes, it is a Rotrex C-38-81. Please email me through ebay as I don't check this site every day. Thanks, Jeff
  7. Thanks but I need all cash. Let me know if you can work that out. Thanks, Jeff
  8. This is a kit I never installed, got it directly from an engineer friend at Wheel to Wheel 1 year ago. Supercharger is new unused and still in the original unopened box. All parts are present in the kit, have full instructions just needs a tune after installation. The buy it now price is $2500 for the kit. Retail was $5500. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...=STRK:MESELX:IT Thanks Jeff
  9. NEW never used Rotrex supercharger with Intercooler plus complete installation kit & brackets asking $3900 Complete Wheel to Wheel Powertrain intercooled supercharger kit for GMT800 pickup trucks featuring a Rotrex C38-81 Supercharger, 356 T6 Cast Aluminum Mounting Brackets and Pressure Duct, Independent 8-rib drive system with OEM tensioner, Roto Molded Plastic Clean Air Duct, High Volume Bypass Valve, Silicone Couplings with Stainless Steel Clamps, High Flow Matched Fuel Injectors, Fuel Pump Overlay Harness, High Efficiency Intercooler and Heat Exchanger with twin SPAL cooling fans. Kit comes complete with all hardware, wiring, supercharger oil, and installation instructions required to install on the vehicle. This system is sized for the 6.0L LQ9 engine found in the GMT800 Escalade, Denali, and Silverado SS platforms, but can be tweaked by a professional install er to fit other applications. This system was installed on a demonstration vehicle for a short period of time, but all parts were completely cleaned and refurbished for re-sale including a brand new never used supercharger and fuel injectors. Buyer will be responsible for obtaining a diablo sport calibration license/tool to install the calibration provided on CD or have a custom calibration performed upon kit installation. The kit retails for $5995 and I am asking $3900. I also have the instructions for the GMT900 install that would go with the extra box of parts to install on a 2007+ truck. The kit currently has the C38-81 supercharger from Rotrex which is the largest one that Rotrex currently makes. It is sized, along with the pulley, and injectors, for a 6.0L truck. 10. Thanks for the response, and sorry for the confusion. The problem happened the day AFTER I towed the trailer. The day before when I towed the trailer empty @3500lbs, the trans seemed ok. I tow between 60-65mph BTW.
  11. I have read Zippy's excellent transmission explanation on the website and have a few questions as it pertains to a recent problem that has developed with my 2005 2wd Silverado SS. First, I am the original owner of the truck, and it has only 10,500 miles on it. The only mods are a cat back Magnaflow and a "PCM's for less" reflashed pcm. I have not installed billet servos or any other trans mods. The PCM definitely gave it some harder shifts, and has been in the truck since it had about 1000 miles on it. My problem: the other day the trans held 1st gear a little longer than normal. An isolated incident that has not occurred since. But, it got me thinking and a little worried because I am about to tow an enclosed trailer hauling a Chevelle from CA to FL, I was supposed to leave in 2 days!. I picked up the trailer, drove about 90 miles with it (empty), and everything seemed fine. The next day, on the freeway and in cruise control at about 78mph, my lockup in overdrive started "hunting" back & forth between 2300rpms & 3000. If I put it in 3rd gear it held fine. No other symptoms were noticed. I got where I was going and shut the truck down for a half hour, started it back up and it hasn't happened since. I'm going to reinstall my original PCM (I kept it), and see what happens. The truck is still under warranty. Can you please offer any explanation of what is wrong, and how to handle this before I go on my trip? Can I "persuade" the dealer drop the pan if they can't duplicate the problem? Thanks in advance, Jeff cell: 626-808-8101

  13. Hey all, I bought this LED Third brake light for my SS but I decided against installing it. It is NEW in the box. Please see on ebay, there is a buy it now price of $85 (I paid over $100) http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...E:IT&ih=019 Thanks!
  14. I also have the Belltech Nitro shocks and soft bumpstops, along with the Belltech spindles & McG's rear drop and I noticed a significant improvement in the ride. By that I mean that the stock shocks with the 3-3 drop did not have much rebound control, and the front end would bounce excessively over large dips. It is much improved. ;) As for freeway hop, there is a way to limit it somewhat, but it is expensive! The combination of OUR WHEELBASE, and this goes for all makes of extended cab pickups, with leaf springs equals hop. The best way to solve it is to install the Air Ride Technologies 5-link that replaces the leaves entirely. I did this to my '02 Chevy & it was nice. I'm just not sure if a want to cut my frameonthis truck as I intend to keep it a long time.
