  1. I do still have the cover. I'm out of town thru Saturday with little to no internet access (visiting family in rural KS), so I apologize if replies are slow.
  2. Wish I could meet you but I no longer have anyway to move this cover.
  3. Anyone interested? $400 cash takes it.
  4. Hrm... just sent this out the door, can't look at the part number on it. I picked this up on eBay through some dealer a couple years back. I had it on my 2006 SS up until I sold the truck two weeks ago. Looks great! Hope you find one.

  12. Eh, it's okay. Peace of mind in getting my little girl around town and up and down the interstate safely, immediately, instead of worrying about an imminent blow out for another week or two is worth at least a couple hundred bucks to me.
  13. $850, have a $40 rebate on the way too. I know there's probably someone around here who could have gotten me a better price, but I needed tires stat. Stock Goodyears were past done on the front end...
  14. All, I spent several days combing through the forums looking for info on the fit of the Nitto NT 420S (305/50R-20) tires on Stock SS wheels. Finally picked up a set, and just got back from the tire shop. Yes, I KNOW the truck is dirty and needs attention bad, but figured I'd get these pics up to help should anyone else be looking for images. I'd read several times about 'bulging' sidewalls, and the tire protruding from the fender well by as much as a quarter inch, but I don't feel like I have either of these issues. If I do, then they don't bother me... Truck drives solid, straight. It's been raining today, so I haven't lit them up just yet to get my own feel on traction. Anyway, on to the photographic evidence for others to make their own assessments:
  15. Any chance you'll be in the Austin area any time soon?
  16. Hey! Nice to see someone on here from around town! I'm up north, off 1431. Used to live off of Sam Bass, south of Hairy Man Road. Do you ever get back into town? Where abouts are you from here in Round Rock? Yup, talking about Torsion Bar Keys. And by no means, am I the expert, but as far as I know, all SS's have torsion bar suspension for the front end. Currently I'm riding on 2" shackles in the rear and a slight decrank in the front to keep her level. I'm planning to pick up some 3" Belltech springs for the rear and thinking of getting some drop keys for the front for now. Later on, I'll likely pick up some Belltech spindles to end up with a 'proper' 3/4 drop.
  17. I've got a 2006 RWD SS. I'm interested in determining the difference between the Belltech Keys and the GM "HD2500" Purple keys, but first, I'd really like to confirm my truck has the Green keys from the factory... I climbed under there, but of course, they're so surface rusted, I cannot tell what their original paint demarcation was. So, do all RWD SS's have the green keys from the factory? Does anyone have a comparison of the Belltech vs. the GM Purple Keys? Is there any worth to going with the Belltech over the Purples? Thanks all!
  18. Big thanks to Punisher. I purchased the set of Head and Parking Light assemblies he was offering for sale. Punisher was incredibly timely in responding to PMs regarding the set and the transaction. Punisher also shipped the set as quickly as possible and the items were packed very securely to assure no shipping damage. Thanks again, Punisher! I'd recommend anyone do business with this great guy.
  19. You got kidnapped by something that goes on a salad... It was blender, you #$*&!

  21. Did you buy the version with the "lip" or without to fit over the factory tailgate spoiler? Thanks!
  22. As I understand it, the 06 provides average fuel economy, not instant. If you were to reset the average, you'd see instant results for a short while. The longer you run the average, the less it will change. I'm not sure mathematically (after so many miles) when to tell you to reset it for it to be more accurate on average. I reset mine on a long trip or on every other fill up or so. Usually keeps it close to calculating the average manually (gallons used vs. miles traveled).
  23. This looks great! What kind of exhaust tips are these? Thanks!
  24. Bolt over, I didn't like the idea of cutting the stocker. Thanks though!
