  1. Yeah the motor is stock. But I found out that while off my boost Gauge reads -3 vacumme. So 9-10 psi through the 2.8 pulley is about right, I went a head and went back to the 3.4
  2. Update: pulled the line of the bypass valve, made a pull and still 6 psi at wot.
  3. I just installed a used magnacharger mp112 on my 04 Ss. Everything went good Untill I hooked my boost gauge up l, it has the 3.4 pulley on and it's only pushing 3 lbs of boost. I swapped in my 2.9 and it's making 6 but I understand that it should be making closer to 10 lbs. I'm completely new to Superchargers, belts good and tight so I don't suspect belt slip. I don't really know how to test the bypass by it moves freely. Any help would be great!
  4. Alright sweet. Got in touch with them and they hooked me up with everything I needed! Appreciate it fellas
  5. Yeah I seen that. I've heard of people using the 255's but i didn't know if they would fit it the stock bucket. I knew that magnacharger sold these as a kit but I didn't know if they was just a plain walbro 255. I don't believe they offer them anymore
  6. Hey everybody. Finally come around and bought a Maggie for the Ss, sure wish I coulda come across a tvs unit but the mp112 will do for a good daily driver. The kits pretty complete minus the fuel upgrade. The injectors are stock and I'm putting the 3.4 pulley on Untill I can build the tranny. I doubt the stock fuel pump handle the 42 lb injectors? I've been looking at Kenne belle boost a pumps or upgrading to a walbro 255 but the return-less fuel system information is kinda vague when you get to upgrading information. What do you guys think would be the best bet? Any input will be greatly appreciated fellas.
  7. Hey man were are you located. I'm in ky also. Shoot me a text if you get a chance 12709527887
  8. Thanks man. I'm going to start gathering up parts I've also looked at the procharger kits. Turbo kits are cheap to start out with but the little stuff that goes with if adds up quick. Supercharging looks easier but I don't think they have as much room for expansion as a turbo
  9. Hello everybody, just trying to see what everybody's getting into on the topic of forced induction. I'm new too the Ss word but not to building motors( am New to the turbo end of things though!) what my plans are is to start with a on 3 performance turbo kit, heard a lot of good and bad but you really can't complain at a price like that. I'm going to run top 10# of boost for now. For the motor I was going to throw on some ls9 gaskets, Arp rod and head bolts, some good valve springs, maybe some new lifters and pushrods. The cam im not sure yet. I know a couple of you have similar builds ( I seem thickcajun's and I think he almost has a identical set up) but if any of you have good advice I'm up for any tips! Injectors and fuel pump is what I'm needing to figure out! On three has some for a extra charge but I'm still undecided.
