  1. Sorry to say it, but I think you toasted your trans...... Rebuild again or replace.

Every shop out there will jump on this because its "gravy" for them (lots of cheap parts, easy for them to fix, most any repair will last the warranty period). Now getting good, upgraded repair (better parts and assembly) is a whole different story. I have a few trans guys, locally, that will shot straight with me. In Atlanta, I'd call Rob Walden at Lamar Walden Automotive, (770) 449-0315. He's an mainly a performance engine guy, but may tackle the job or refer you to a pro that will do the job right. Let me know. May have a couple of more contacts in the area.

As of right now I’m going back and forth between performabuilt, FLT, and getting a reman from the stealership. So your here in Atlanta as well??

  2. Well y’all, not even 75k miles and tranny rebuild is toast. At least 3-4 lockup will not grab anymore, although r-1,2 are just fine. This is my work truck and I do not have the time to do the 80swap. Should I go with flt this time? As I actually made it home instead brokedown on the side of the highway and 60 miles from home, in which I had no choice but to toe to a local shop. Lookin for opinions. Thanks! #teamnosleepfuxkinsucks

  3. Please help. Have gone through at least 6 pair in the rear and 3-4 in the front. My truck sits 35”3/4 with my torsion keys turned in almost all the way, yet my bump stops only barely touch at the closest corner of the jounce to the arm. I’m loosing my mind and arthritis is going to make to loose...

Anyone got a better hook up for a LOC ,THAN THE CENTER console. I need to be back thumpin, with only one needed... 6. Doughty thanks man. Trust me Ive read every single one lol. Gear head at heart, shit at this point Im running out of post on this forum lmao. Just dont have the time nor tools to do something like that currently. Id need it back and done ASAP. Not like a month or so project while Im working.

Cant remeber your user name but homie saying youd do it. You got insurance? I got a couple buddies that are master techs for several different manufactures but they never have time to do anything their always working and when not they deff dont wanna work more lol. Reason why I would never pursue a career in mechanics. Id need to get back as fast as the driveshaft shop gets the shafts done and time2kill has shipped me the new output for the front. Lemme know through id love to hear ya out. Second... thats why my f body z28 has an expired tag since 2012 (((((((......

  7. NE GA in rabun county. I've never formally been taught auto mechanics, but I started working at age 12 at a small engine mechanic shop. I can do anything with a carberauted engine, but know nothing about ECU and wiring etc, etc. I started my own company st the beginning kf this year and have no time to trouble shoot/run into problems attempting to do it myself. I have another truck I use as a beater that I could get by with for a little bit. I currently have a built 65e but I've already had jt rebuilt once and warranty is coming up lol. It is built with " all the bullet proof tricks" ? but i tow up to 10,000 or more and I live in the mountains. Will say they that my truck outhandles my moms Subaru I bought her hands down!
