  1. Be careful...I did a search on on our 2 systems nationwide, and all the trucks that were listed as having a 9.5, and showed the VIN, were inventoried incorrectly. They were all 8.6's. Only 05-07 got the hybrid axles. Run the VIN of the truck they have and make sure it was an SS, V-Max, or had the AXN option.

    I received the axle today and it was incorrect. Fit loose on the ring gear end it.

     

    One on the left is the one I removed my truck. On the right is GM #88967013

     

    :( Hopefully dutchman axles can make me one

    Sorry should have clarified, I meant the cost to install. I have heard C notching the frame adds a lot more labor costs.

     

    I did all the labor myself. I can definitely see how a shop will charge you a decent amount to notch it.

    Yes sir they are. I changed them up though. Went black housed/clear corner.

  3. Whats up fellas, My name is Luis. Currently living in South, FL. New owner of a Victory Red 05' SS, 129k.

     

    Pretty much bone stock other than a DJM/Belltech 3/7 Drop kit from Norcal SS.

     

    20" Stocks, 245/50's

     

    It was AWD, I converted it to RWD. Upgraded to a 9.5" Rear end and kept my disc brakes.

  4. 2004 AWD SSS, Video below is better explain whats going on.

     

    I've searched endlessly and haven't found someone with my issue. Hoping someone has ran across this before.

     

    Any help is appreciated, thank you!

     

    DS Runout is fine. Fluid is fine. It happened out of nowhere, no strange noises. Once I got off the highway I came to a stop at a light. Once it turned green, I accelerated and noticed my RPMs climbing higher than usual and the transmission hadn't shifted. I let off the throttle and it shifted fine, no clunking or anything.
