  1. You right also.

I don't think the PSI would make much of a difference on how the truck feels. If your truck is lower, more than likely has a different type of suspension which will make the ride feel rougher. When I bought my truck it was level and with a different shock and with the stock 20" wheels, I felt the ride rough, don't like it. Now more than likely I will have to change the shocks in order for it to feel smoother. That's just my opinion, but I could be wrong.

You right also I can feel the difference if it's the suspension or the PSI in the tires but u did put 35 all the way around today and it's a little better. Now if i knew how to change my shocks and struts... being a chick sometimes isn't easy.. lol

  2. I hope someone can help this may seem like a dumb question but I have a 04 ss silveraldo and It is lowered so the ride is a litle rougher than it would be stick height and with the stock tires. My question is what should I have as far as my tire pressure I got some 2o" LTZ'S and I'm not satisfied with the way It's riding and I just need to know what psi front and back j should roll?

  3. Kessler drivjg home esrlier today and asi approached my house the truck bogged when I tapped the gas pedal so I just coastedintk the driveway and as I put it in park it cut out. I tried to start it and it cranked strong, acted like it was trying to start (like getting a little gas) but would not run.

There are no codes thrown. I can hear the fuel pump when I bump the key. The only mod I have is a cold air intake and thats it, rest is stock. Im not sure where to start.

Cam sensor? Crank sensor?, fuel regulator? I dont know, it ran well and all of a sudden it bogged as I tapped on the gas.

Any help and/or suggestions are most appreciated.

Do you have cats on it? Also Get a gauge and see how much pressure uour getting on the injector rail. Pump may not sustain enough pressure.. does you gas gauge work? Sounds like a fuel issue.. also change your fuel filter its located under the driver side by the frame. Hope I could help. Good luck..

  4. Well finally decided to take the truck to the track. Made about 10 passes. Consistently between 9.83 and 9.87. Once it got later in the evening and cooled down more made the fastest pass of the day at 9.78. Only thing done is a k&n intake and magnaflow muffler. Going this Thursday to have headers and mid pipes installed along with a tune. Looking forward to seeing what kind of difference it makes. Anyone have any guesses for me?

That's all I have done to my SS but never took it to the track.. hmmm...
