Thanks for the interest and replies. The reason I am taking these out has to do with the cutoff line for the low beams. I ordered the projectors with clear lenses which deliver a very sharp cutoff and a blue line at the top of the low beam. This looks great for the street scene, but I run this truck all the time, somtimes in upstate New York, there are critters on the road there and if their eyes are above the cutoff even a few inches, it makes for a surprise! In hindsight I should have ordered the frosted lenses for my purposes, but so be it. These work fine and perform exactly as designed, so no problem with anything but my choice.

cmoney23, I appreciate the comments, remember that the headlights are mounted by themselves, clear marker lenses are a different matter and aren't affected by this deal.

rudy90140, no pics of the backs, but will get them and post. as far as bulbs, these have 35 watt HID bulbs, 4300K color. Very white, no visible blue except at the cutoff, which looks cool.

3yr/36k mile warranty is probably long gone.

 

Mine was just replaced under warranty. GM has extended the warranty on these clusters up to 6 years and 75000 miles if I remember correctly. Check with your dealer.
