  1. My squeaking noise turned out to be the left front hub. I think(just guessing) they reused the hub nut when they did my dropped spindles which are one time use only. any ways the wheel had excessive play but was un-noticeable when I drove. (thought it was my brakes at first)

    Hope this helps...

  2. Same thing happens on my 03 SSS and it seems to be on the passenger side control in my case; I just slide the temp slighty warmer and it goes away. ( I leave it set at that positon most of the time and I can't feel a difference between either side with the A/C running.)

  3. I drop my drive shafts (2), unbolt the t-case from the tranny and am able to walk it off the output shaft of the tranny by carefully tilting the tailshaft of the t-case up and to the drivers side. So no, you don't need to mess with the extra "spacer" however it is a tight fit and you need to manuver the t-case a bit. Be careful not to gall the output shaft

Krambo, thanks for your insight man...

I'm trying to get get my tranny out (Dead/Blown Tranny) so I can send my P. I. 10.5" converter back to get cut and cleaned/checked for damage, at the advice from Chuck at FLT. I believed he mentioned you in the conversation we had over the phone and the recent tranny they built for you. How are you liking it? I'm sure you're enjoying the hell out of it, I can't wait until mine is installed. Hey man, thanks again for your help.:cheers:

  4. I had the same problem and from what the dealer told me it is a common problem, my door cladding came loose in the searing Ontario, Ca heat. My cladding was creased so they ordered and painted to match; which was all done under warranty. I agree that they could of designed a better way of attaching the part but I assume it was done like that to cut costs.
