  1. Not sure if I will try this, but I might! Truck has been sitting since the Malibu got going, did not drive the truck for one year. Right now it needs a fuel pump, can't run it hard or the pressure drops. Going to fix that next, then drive for awhile as daily driver until I get the interior fixed in the Malibu. Thanks for the help!

  2. I've changed shocks multiple times since the truck was new, and some front end parts. The spring rate is soft, becomes very apparent after driving my coil spring car with aftermarket performance coils from Eibach. What I would like is aftermarket torsion bars with higher rate, although new ones would probably produce some gains.

  3. My truck made 600hp at the tires with the 4L80E, it kept breaking the 65E even when I tried launching soft and zero timing on shift. Kept breaking first gear, gave up and installed the 80E. The 80E needed clutches at 120,000 miles, started getting aggressive shifts in second. Been a few converters in it trying to find what I liked, but the 80E has been tough!

  4. Does anybody sell stiffer rate front torsion bars that are direct fit? After driving my old car with tight handling my truck just seems loose. It has stock suspension other then shocks and larger front sway bar. I was thinking with 167,000 miles maybe new stock ones would be helpful.

  5. No Rotrex on that one. The truck was painted for Mike Helton, he wanted the bright red. We also built a Tahoe with some body mods and a intercooled Rotrex system for him. They both shipped to him, so he will be cruising both trucks next week.

  6. I think we are going to sell my development SS Silverado. It is an assembled SS out of a new 2002 chevy 1500 truck, with a GMC Danali drivetrain. The engine has been upgraded with Forged 4340 crank, rods and forged pistons. The transmission has been upgraded to a 4L80E, the rest of the drivetrain is original. The truck also has a Danali interior with heated seats and 6 disc changer.

    It has made 603hp to the wheels on our chassis dyno and ran a best et of 11.4X.

    It also has Baer 6 piston front brakes and the Eradispeed rears. It has the factory chrome rims with Kumho tires. Some pics of it are on our website W2Wpowertrain.com.

    The truck has 52,000 miles on it and is driven daily. We are trying to decide if we should put the truck back to stock and sell, or sell as-is. If you have any questions please e-mail me @ [email protected]
