Well the episode in which rich lays a bike down aired tonight. I reassert my statement about rich's Bonehead riding. I'm sorry, he was already clear of the cable, which was marked well, and got on it too hard leaned over a bit on probably questionable surface traction. The bike bucked him and they both took a soil sample.

Wasn't referring to you quick. I remember your episode, it was the last one listed on the vote page. http://www.speedtv.com/features/974 Anyone that gets dead on has to argue it later to keep a win. Hopefully they've learned to get good camera angles set so it's an easily answered question. The earlier seasons had much worse, to useless, viewpoints the clearly see. He was one of the other races shot here. I tried to find him listed so i could call him by name but he wasn't pictured which is how i would have been able to remember him. I didn't go to MIR to watch. Idiots pick a sunday and monday night The honda looked like all the classic cracks about imports rolled into one Motorider, most of the complaints against rich are basically personality conflicts, 'Too cocky, tough guy act' etc. He's always admitted that he knew little about racing. My complaints are when he doesn't hold a high standard like he professes. One week the weak car gets all sorts of edges handed to it. The next one just as trashed isn't allowed a hail mary play. Inconsistancy is arbitrary bs. Or the rerun they just ran with the Mike Slowe vs Jason Miller. Rich himself screwed up, he thought saw a head bob and was wrong when the tape was viewed yet let the winning rider decide the validity of the race. He should have just said "my screwup, the race doesn't count"

Your probably referring to "All Out". They have supposedly shot another I believe and tried something 'new' with it and didn't get a great reaction. Don't know any more detail than that. Which was supposedly off Pink's radio. There were episodes with more passion to race, skills, and integrity than the ones 'chosen'. Like I said those teams must have had a huge chain of people all voting early and often. Take the one new york guy (Didn't see his episode in the voting list) that was dead on rich's shoulders on takeoff. That's as timed as you can get and I don't think his was even up for voting. But of course little nate's 2 from early on were up. Thankfully they did not get enough to show although in that group they would have been at home. I mean really, Sheila Rivers? I think Janice Grant would have been better to watch for a chick episode. Although they had similarities, both chicks, both had cars not up to snuff. Couple more weeks and there will be the new season to ridicule.

Oh this evening's "Greatest 6" voted by viewers was pathetic. Looks like all the lame episode teams got together to vote themselves airtime. And as I figured it ends with the tosto twits. Laughable thing is the car didn't sell on ebay. Auction closed, reserve not met was the last I saw of it. Well time to sleep, had to prop my eyes open to stay awake thru all this junk.
  5. M___I____C.... See a used poon. K___E____Y.... Why? Because someone needs her career jumpstarted.
  6. shreveportSS, where's your tutu? or do you dress as a quaalude? By the way, your van's on fire. "What is this sh*t, maui wowie? No it's labrador. Labrador? You mean we're smoking Dog sh*t man? Yeah, I had my stash on the table and the little mother f****r ate it. I had to follow him around for a week with a little baggie. Really freaked him out. Wow, that's good sh*t." "Up in Smoke..........That's where I..want to be....." I think it and 48hrs were the first 2 videos i ever had.
  7. Quick, Did you go down to it? Should have, you would have gotten into the top 16 automatically. I think that was stated at sometime. Don't remember exactly. Jamie got eliminated first round of the final 16. Saw the mouthy kid in the blue camaro was there. Some little punk ford kid over on one of their boards saying his fav part was when the GN stoped the luv truck. This coming from a kid with a grand prix and old rx7 he plans to put an ls1 in. Out of his league. Even if his rx had an ls1 in it it wouldn't have beaten the luv at it's peak. To bad they made the truck street legal before that event. Then they change their minds and don't make registered street legal a requirement.
  8. I got bored with the show. Never really watch it anymore. I've heard claims that people get labor bills on those builds. Would suck if true. Just the taxes on appraised value would be a hit to one who truely couldn't afford it. I wonder if that mustang ever sold. That guy who complained about stuff they did when changing his wife's stang. Then amazingly it was up on ebay or some sale site. The svtperformance guys were having a fit on their site over it. They couldn't believe the guy would or could do it. Supposedly the show keeps the vehicle for months/year and take it around to shows. That was the claim. Guess I've just gotten bored with everything. TV seems to hold less and less interest anymore. Oh man I must be old. LOL
  9. I know all about scuffing the paint. I think many would have a crying fit if they watched the process of preparing their trucks for liner. The competition's rubberized cottage cheese was just utter crap. Removed it and went to the better product. Could have repainted but that would have gotten me nowhere. The factories just need to spray liners from the start. Would kill the drop in liner market but stagecoach makers had their day too.
  10. I gotta counterpoint to the ideas that spray-ons can never be removed. I highly doubt that. Not saying it would be easy, but I know one competitor's product can be stripped. I much prefer line-x to that other but given enough effort anything can be stripped. And yes it does dent. A 10" plumbing T can make like a big sledge hammer. But it stayed formed to the dented areas.
  11. Beyond a few feet you don't notice over the rails. It does keep a neat look if it's actually used as a truck. Mine looks much like Generalms02's. Over rail and tailgate cap. It's not the glistening paint shine but a tough useful beauty.

Found old Munsters episode on just this sec. Herman is racing for pinks. Just need some forest gump editing and put rich flagging them. Although looking at Herman and grampa I can see Halloween outfits for rich and stephen pullin. And nate can be eddie.

Aww, don't like Unique Whips?... With such classic lines as "Cars is my life" Such eloquence, how can you resist taking your truck to him for all that bling bling?

http://speedzilla.com/forums/showthread.php?t=28103 The link to pics and vid are down now i think but string is on rich's cycle accident. He layed a guy's new bike down on the return road. Harsh comments from the sport bikers on that site but most believe in gear. If he'd had a proper jacket on he wouldn't have road rash. http://richchristensen.com/radio/PINKS/10112006.mp3 Rich counters on pinks radio with "I've been riding since 1969... we don't wear helmets in iowa.... My home town doesn't have a speed limit over 35... i never wear a helmet unless i go on the highway." Fair enough, I don't believe in forcing helmets on people. However it is safer to wear one. Despite his protests that it takes to much effort to put a jacket and helmet on for a short ride he should be able to flip a jacket and helmet on in 10 seconds. He states how they have to put a ramp over the cables they run for production. Ok, if you knew that before the incident, why didn't you see it? Now if the production crew didn't have an obstruction like that marked it's their fault for the accident. But listen to him as he's pissed and finally lets his tv front fall away as he unloads. 13 minutes into it. "All the haters, you can go 'F' yourselves. Every single one of you. You know, can't wait till you go down on a bike and i can laugh in your face. You know, seriously, all you guys who threw me under the bus on this thing, you hear me loud and clear, You go 'F' yourselves. I hope you go down and the same thing happens to you and i will spit ontop of you. So Thanks" Maybe my busting on him a bit when i relayed that string to the guys at work with jamie got repeated. Dunno, geez, call a guy a bonehead and he gets all pissy. Now Rich, if you happen to read this I have gone down before and it was a 'bonehead' mistake. I analyzed and relived it like I'm sure you did. I learned my error and haven't repeated it in 18 years now. Hopefully it works out that way for you. http://richchristensen.com/radio/PINKS/101806.mp3 Now listen to him whine about others trying to take credit for his 'greatness'. Umm, lets see, he invented racing with titles on the line? Didn't they do that in American Graffiti 30 years ago? And even they didn't come up with it. Now he is the first to get that as a show on tv. Of course the tv weasels try to lay claim or steal ideas. Whoopie, that's what weasels do in any field there Dilbert. They should have saved all that one for offseason and spent time talking about the show of that night. Stuff that ended up on the cutting room floor and such. I do call him to task on some things. He likes to go on all the time about people being truthful, personal honor and such. All fine and well and he's not completely lying to one's face like some have but he has stretched the truth regularly. His attempts to glad hand and butt kiss the racers are so transparent. They know your doing it. That is disingenuous. Each week's race is "The best ever" You do constantly reverse yourself on things and the way you go about them. A rule one week isn't in play the next. Example: One week the crappy car can't negotiate a bunch on lengths in a hail mary attempt to maybe win. The following week's crappy car needs all these lengths and he's the one being flexible and if you don't take the race giving him lengths I'll just award him the win. That arbitrary rule book in your head is not respected. You may say it's simple, show up, have a solid car that does what ya said and race it hard. But the negotiations are your drama spot. Your way to ratchet up the excitement. Lets keep flip flopping the balance so we insure 5 races. Also you tend to like to make most of the racers travel across the country to race. An obvous attempt to me to gain extra leverage in ensuring they go through with it. They travel all that way, investing all the time and money, so they'll run even if their car starts acting up on race day. When in reality for the racer they should bail cause it's not in their interest to start in a weakened condition. I really wanted to respect you Rich. But the hollowness of things you've said and done. Reversals and inconsistant stands do you damage man. Now for all those he told to "Go 'F' Yourselves" they way to take them down is chop his supply lines. Do not buy from any advertiser of the show. Get all you know to do likewise. Hurt the sponsors enough you will ultimately topple the show. Next season it's gonna be mostly shops supposedly. Well include them. Don't buy from or get service from them either. Yeah it's shitty but if you chop his monetary support as well as his contestants there is nothing left. Wither on the vine.
  15. gotta love that, "These guys are being flexible" Really wish they'd just run heads up 1 shot deal. Your gonna atleast force one of them to put everything into it. To answer Rich's usual statement "I really wanna see what these ____ can do" But he likes his 3of5 set so 3of5 heads up with whatever ya got. My bro had an idea they should just anounce a track and day. Those willing show up look over all others who show up willing. Get 2 who want the other guy's ride and think they can take it. There ya go, your either right or your wrong. a single show could have 2 or 3 lost cars. These ideas are just spitting in the wind to speed. They're too busy dry humping nascar's leg.
