I changed mine out to a regular pcv valve. And I can tell that the brakes are alot firmer. It seems to be that there is more vaccum to help stop the truck.

Is the battery good? I'll check with some people. I recently bought one and love it. I have had several people who said they would like to have one. I work at a dealer and all of our service information is online now. I have mine on my tool box with a wireless card.
