Well, time has come to sell the SS. Moving on to a better "family" vehicle!
2003 Silverado SS
51000 miles.
Always Mobil 1 since new.
Second owner, bought with 6K miles on it.
Fiberglass bed cover.
PCM4LESS tune. I also have the stock ECM. (currently installed)
Volant CAI.
SS brake lines and Hawk Perf. pads all the way around.
Great running, no problems, never wrecked.
Only thing it may need is tires. Ok tread but will need tires soon. I will install new tires if asking price is received.
Asking $15600.

Yeh the 335i is quick but the new M3 is FAST! We have a few press cars at work right now. WOW, I LIKE!!

Bump for a great cover. Don't worry about the velcro issue. Yes, over time the velcro wears and does not hold well but Extang sent me a brand new one. Great company, they stand behind their products!

Been there, done that way back in 1997 when it was still a small school! You will get out what you put into the school. Been at a BMW dealer for 10 yrs now.

Dude, Have you ever driven an M (3-5 or 6) they are amazing, I was a h8r until I drove a friends 500 hp m5, then I alomost bought an 03 leguna seca blue m3... Bad ass cars.... The inlin had to be revved very High, in fact it could be a mid 14 car...or a mid-low 13 sec car depending on driver skill, the peak rpm i believ was 7200... They sound mean @ 6500+.... Do yourself some fun and go test drive an M.....
BTW I love the new ones..... 335 I is also a nice choice for less coin. It has a turbo and over 300 hp...!!
If you haven't had the chance to drive one yet you need to!! I fix them all day everyday and it is still a rush to get into a M car and drive it. Drove them all in SC at the performance center, the new 335i was the most fun of them all on the track!!
i raced some guy driving a red m3 down mill ave in tempe. probobly the worst street to race down narrowly avoiding pedestrians and whatnot. anyhow it was good race his car pulled me when he shifted to third but up till then it was pretty tied. i didnt like the guy he was flamboyantly homosexual i felt like a real idiot when he wonThats a real smart place to street race!!
STUPIDMy boss just bought on of those..an 07 m5..it has a button on the steering wheel that gives it like an 85 hp boost...this car is insane...too much $$$$ for me though...So, paying over $2,500.00 for every major service is okay? Do you like $300.00 oil changes? How about 1.5 hours of labor for each wheel on a brake job?Chris Bangle's designs are uninspiring. The cars are well made, and micro-edge precise. Their level of precision makes them extremely fragile.
The servicing costs are the main reason you will never see me driving one.
It's a nice fast car, but that is all. I will keep my truck and buy a G8 GT, because it will be the only import that has LS power.
Find me another manufacturer that has 4yrs/50K maint. You pay for NOTHING except the tires you destroy. Thats free brakes, oil changes, everything!!

Had mine replaced at 36K, they screwed up the pinion depth and it still leaked. Got a brand new diff. out of the deal, new one just as noisy as old.

1986 BMW 325e year round beater. Runs like a champ with over 300K on it. Also gets 30+ mpg beating the crap out of it.

Thats one of the best things about snowmobiling in the U.P. of Michigan. Sitting in the hottub, drinking a cold one, and watching the lights. You can't get much further from the light polution!

Just use tow/haul, I have had no problems towing our 5000lb boat around. If you do alot of towing get a cooler for sure!!

i want to see a white ss.thats a sweet looking truck you have there. Tobad you got rid of the SS to get that but still a sick ride. White looks great and wish they made the SS white. I would have bought one.
