    Cheers Buddy, thats got to be a record for a reply... I'm really liking this site..

    i don't really want to put one on but UK law states we must have a license plate on the front of the truck, i usually have a Fun plate showing in the holder and my real license plate on the dash of the truck, but if/when i get pulled by the police i can then apologize ;) and put the correct one on the bumper in the holder lol. avoiding a ticket, if there's no holder then its a guaranteed ticket :(

    How much do you want for it? and do you have pay pal?

    Really Glad she's home for Christmas, and hope she makes a full recovery, which i'm sure she will with her family around her, send her our best wishes from the UK, and we'll keep her in our prayers,not all angels are on the cristmas tree some are looking after loved ones

    My favorite color has to be black my last 3 trucks have been black coz when they're clean i think they look awesome and i can live with the fact they are hard work to keep clean but worth the effort. that and Black ones are Faster :D

     

    What do you think is the best color and why did you choose it?

    Just wanted to say hey dig the site have been lurking for a little bit. I just made an offer on a black 2003 SS AWD with 40k on it. I am definately going to buy just working out the price (long drawn out process I am in Iraq the truck is in Omaha, NE). Anyone from the Omaha area? Well anyways  thats where I am from and my wife and kids live there while I work overseas. I was looking around for a new truck lately and I had absolutely NO clue that they were making the SS since the old 454 versions in the 90s. Now I am in love with the whole concept. Other toys in my garage include ; 71 Lemans (GTO Clone fully restored) , 2001 Blazer LT, and a 2006 Honda CBR 600rr can't wait for my new addition.

     

     

    Hi Bildo Congrats on the choice of truck and you've choose the right color... black ones are faster lol no matter what the other guys tell yer..

    i lurked for a couple of years before buying aSS and posting. great bunch of folks on here to help you with almost anything...

    yea she doesn't use the truck that much.. well she didn't the old one lol, i bought a cassette thingy for the old truck but to be honest was a waste of money worked when it felt like it and didn't sound that good when it was working, the SS hasn't got a tape deck so its redundant now anyway. i'll just show her how to change cds till i change the head unit, but there are other mods i want first lol.. thanks for your help,

    The U.S. Navy today announced that it has released

    a senior Al Qaida terrorist after questioning him

    extensively for 27 days while being held

    aboard a U.S. aircraft carrier in the Arabian Sea.

     

    In a humanitarian gesture, the terrorist was given

    $50 (U.S.) and a white Ford Fairlane automobile

    upon being released from custody.

     

    The attached photo shows the terrorist on his way

    home just after being released by the Navy

    S10

    Impala

    Silverado.

     

    All would have to be in Black..... :D

     

    So far i've managed the Silverado.. the rest will have to wait till i've won the Lottery... :cool:

    check on the breakers yards and find a LT interior, you'd get center console, seats and poss ibly the dash complete, hard work to fit but worth the effort...

    but i have to admit i loved the Tan leather in my old LT truck and wished they had have given that option with the SS, but i'm old so thats probably why lol... and with the looks of the SS i can live with dark grey :driving:

  20. Lost my little buddy today

    You're not an Idiot.. you've just lost a dear friend.

    we had a scare with my Cavalier King Charles last month he's now going to be on tablets for the rest of his life, but i was real worried we were gonna loose him, luckily he's much better now, and our other dog is allways beside him (as if he knows He's not well).

    anyway here's a little poem i was ent when my last dog died hope it helps you at this sad time

     

    Rainbow Bridge

    Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

     

    When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.

    There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.

    There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

     

    All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.

    The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

     

    They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
