  1. hey thanks guys, but do I get an electric gauge or a mechanical gauge? what is the difference?

Electrical. For example... if you were running a mechanical oil pressure gauge from autometer.. you would have a oil line coming into your truck cabin. With electrical, the sending unit is still in the engine bay and all that comes into your truck is going to be a wire that hooks up to the gauge. Its more expensive but alot better in my opinion.

  2. since I don't really want a huge systrm in the tahoe I have considered doing a factory nav upgrade ans leaving it at that.

I figured someone might know what parts and part numbers I should look for to install a factory nav unt into an 04 tahoe z71 with factory bose systems.

    thanks in advance.

  3. a kid at my school just got a new SS stock and wants to race while i have a 04 VHO That im getting back today from the shop with a new cowl hood and air filter and soon to be superchip even without the modifications could i still beat his SS?

Personally I think that the added weight of the SS over the VHO will hurt it in the top end. He may get you off the line with the AWD but you might be able to get after that.

I had raced a couple SS in my VHO and it was a pretty good race up to 100. Had me off the line but quickly made up the distance.

  4. I have been speaking with ASM about their headers recently and I would like to setup a group purchase to help some of us get into them for a great price!

If we can get 5 orders I can get them out for $695 Shipped.

MSRP is $787.50 so that is a huge savings and no shipping charges!

If anyone is interested let me know via pm or email @ [email protected]

    Lets get the ball rolling!

    Fits all 1999-2005 4.8L, 5.3L and 6.0L GM Trucks and SUV's

Keeping up with GM performance applications, we have released our newest exhaust header. We have taken the time to ensure that these are the best headers for the newest GM trucks. Extreme effort was put forth towards proper fitment, durability, and performance. They have produced gains of 22 horsepower and 25 ft./lbs. of torque on a stock 5.3L V-8. These exhaust headers are designed to work with all three V-8 engines. They will work on both two and four wheel drive. Features: 1 3/4" Primary Tubes; HPC Ceramic Coated; Emissions Compatible; Laser cut flanges for accurate gasket seal; Includes headers, gaskets, bolts, and installation instructions. ** Does require some installation welding as documented in the installation instructions.

  5. SS wheels and SS nose.

Actually.. I have some wheels lined up from a new wheel company that we just started to distribute.

Also have some HID lights I want to throw in when I get a chance.

As for other mods.. have not decided yet. Still have a truck and street car being built that needs mods too!

  6. Not for an SS but I know some of you guys or your friends might have a C5 or C6 Vette and looking for a set of wheels.

  7. It really depends on how much you want to spend.

I just finished up a brake upgrade kit for the SS / VHO trucks that features:

    $2999 gets this:

15" 2-Piece Front Rotors - Slotted and Drilled

    Wilwood 6-Piston Caliper

New Machined hardware to attach Caliper to spindle

    SS Lines

13" 1-Piece Rear Rotors - Slotted and Drilled

Fits great under 20" and 22" wheels. VHO stops excellent with them.
