For the price of a beater, you'll more than make that up if you ever sell your SS. Just not worth it to subject such a nice truck to winter driving.

80 degrees yesterday. 26 degrees now with an ice storm and snow for the next 3 days...power companies saying power outages for 5-7 days possibly...got to love Arkansas weather!!

The original battery from 03' is just about gone. Chevy wants $140 for a new battery w/ 700 CCA. Am I better off with something else? I really cant complain with the life of this battery.

You're still on your original battery, you just answered your own question. I just replaced my original battery too just to be safe, but it was still doing fine. AC Delco, money well spent in my book.

Just completed a 4,000+ mile road trip in the SS. Truck ran beautiful the entire time, no issues but he $1,300 in fuel really hurt.

Passed a new 2014 Vette on I-65 last Saturday in Nashville. Didn't think I'd like them, but pretty awesome on the street!

I've rode bikes for over 25 years.(yeah, I'm that old)600 is great bike to start on, and will save you big on insurance over a 1000. Just sit on a bunch a see what feels good. All modern sport bikes are good, so don't get caught up in brand shopping.
