I have had a 94 Cobra(R clone) parked in the garage beside the SS for 8 years. They seem to get along just fine.

When I bought my 03', there was as 04' on the floor with chrome. I am thinking that they were a $995 option. That seemed like a lot of money at the time for the same wheels only with chrome. I don't remember chrome being an option on 03's, but I cant' swear to it. I'll pull out my brochure one day, and find out for sure.

Wheatley definitely seems popular on the forum, both for performance gains and customer service. Any comments? For or against?
-
Definitely sounds like the consensus is a custom tune. I know this can be VERY subjective, but does one tune have a clear advantage over the others? Or is one company better to deal with? Thanks for all the suggestions. I can feel myself getting excited about the SS again, mods have a way of doing that.

Alright guys, as you know I have had my SS for a very long time with absolutely no mods. The more I try to sell it, the more I just want to keep it. I know this has probably been covered many times before, but I am looking for suggestions for the best bang for the buck mods. Mods that will truly make my truck quicker, without compromising the reliability and driveability that I have become accustomed to. No track time, just true street performance. All suggestions welcomed. Thanks.

You don't see that many, but a lifted SS looks bad ass.

Yeah, what they said! I've been a member since 04'. Very few posts myself, but such a great resource for all things SS. Great group of people who really know and love these trucks! Hats off to a great forum.

Lowered my price to $22,100. The Autotrader ad expires 05/16. After that, I guess another 10 years and 20k miles with me.
-
Thanks man. Why am I trying to sell it??? Starting to think I should really just keep it.
-
Last bump. Not looking to beat a dead horse. Let's see... in 2021 it should have about 40k miles. I'll be worn out long before this truck will be. I might just look for some advice on power mods, yeah I take my time. Lol.

A little more SS, a little less M3. Lol. Just kidding, both nice. -

Well we know it is "Badass", and we definitely know the turning radius of a SS. -
Something tells me that's for real. How about some damn gas though!! One tough truck! Another 280,000 and I'm there too.
-
Looks awesome! Was anything done that could not be returned to stock later? Just curious.

From a durability stand point, it makes me proud. Otherwise, that makes me somewhat sick. If this truck had been through multiple owners, you could maybe explain at least some of the abuse, but as a "one owner" how does someone take a $40,000 limited edition pickup, and just run it into the ground. I know I am the other extreme of the spectrum, but damn! Buy a beater work truck! That should be a crime.

Hey guys, just wanted to give you the link to my ad. It was up damn quick, probably within several hours. Anyway, if have any questions let me know. http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.jsp?car_id=318430297

I really appreciate the comments. That was my intent, to let the members of this forum have a heads up here, because I would much rather this truck go to someone who knows what the hell they are getting. Plenty of people have the money to buy it, I would rather have someone who has the passion to own it. Well, let me get off my soap box....... I've placed the ad on Autotrader, and it should be up in 24-48 hrs. Thanks to all the members here who can really appreciate one bad ass truck!!

Thanks man. Definitely been a part of the family, and hope she will go to a good home.

My asking price is looking like $22,500. KBB is $22,118, and this will give me a little room to work with. There are alot of $20,000 SS's with 50k-75k miles out there, so I think I am in the ball park with a fair price. This truck is truly just like new. I replaced the battery with a factory GM last year, and put an Accel Kool Blue air filter in it when I got it. Other than that, just Pennzoil Ultra full synthetic, and Shell 92 octane since new. It has maybe spent 5 nights outside of the garage in 8 years!! Anyway, before I talk myself out of selling it, it should be on Autotrader by tonight. Any questions? Feedback? Just hit me up. Thanks guys.

How Many Sss Owners Are Or Have Been In The Us Military

Shell premium only. I consider it it to be very cheap insurance. Why buy an SS and then worry about 20 cents a gallon?? I'll stick with what Chevrolet recommends.
