yes. but the srt 10 owner couldnt drive to save his life. i actually havent raced anyone with the vortech. but some changes are going to be happening soon!

we can beat most all trucks stock ,except syclone's late model supercharged lightnings, srt-10's(single cab depends on driver) harleys/ced f-150 trucks will usually beat us. im sure there are a few others , but these would be the most common to meet on the street. but other trucks that have very little mods can put up a hell of a fight!

this video started a big controversy over on perftrucks.net. it has some very good points . i will give it that i honestl dont think the recent video posted resembles a plne but hey we will never know for sure!

well you want to set the shift points as high as possible with out it bouncing off of the rev limiter! i would say 14.6 at best that is a great stcok time but those mods dont help all that much. look into a custom pcm tune and you will much happier than the superchips handheld!

well if you want to go much lower than 3 its going to be hard to level out the front to match. since your awd the most i would go is 2 up front !

i think it could be possible with some decent mods, i have been about 140 in my SS but ut was still pulling not real hard but still had more to go, it didnt shift into 4th until about 125-130 mph. that does seem pretty high. there is no where around here that i can even try it anymore unless i hit the freeway at about 3 am in the morning

these are front mounted. notice how we dont talk about STS here much any more <{POST_SNAPBACK}> yeah i knew they were front mounted, thats why i said screw the rear mount...however the GT70 will handle more power than the detroit. As for the talking about STS i think im the only one that has been to the track with an SS here....kinda wish erik would go to see some numbers. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> i dont think he has the sts anymore. chpspeacial is the only other one with the sts!

this is a hard choice.

ive heard goo stuff about them to, the tranny place im using just seems to like the tcs better. for what reason i dont know. but they called me back and the converter is going ot be 695(stall is abuout 2800-3000). and that comes with a 2 year warranty.what are prices like on the pi?

anybody have any experience with these stalls? a locla trans shop speaks highly of thme but they are a bit on the expensive side, i called them asking how much a 2800 stall woud be with all the beefed up internals but imwaiting on a reurn call from them, just wondering if anyone has used them?

pop the hood, its behind the battery toward the center of the engine. youll see a black cover on it. there is a tab holding the cover on, just pull back on it and it should snap off. this will free your pcm not there are two bolts on the back of it, one holding each conneting harness, you will need to unscrew these and after that it should come right out!
