    Hey! I went thru Baer in Az. I took advantage of "Black Friday" prices in October. If you are thinking of this system or any thing they offer wait till Black friday. Call them and ask them if they are having a black friday and ask for the exact day! I obviously had to save and save my ass off to get this system as it is pricey 2900 for the front and 2700 for the rear. SS LINES NOT INCLUDED (BACK IN '09).;Easy install, if I was able to do it anyone can, about 1 hr. per wheel with no help! Stops the truck on a dime! Oh... free shipping! Tech support is awesome...too! it is the Baer Extreme setup, standard colors are Red , black, silver. They have custom colors available too.

    She will probably drop them in the parking lot as she walks to her Toyota Prius, then drive home the brakes will fail get into a minor accident (no injury to her) and, they (Antique jade) will be worth 7.99!

    Just a guess but maybe they tapped into the (white) tach wire off the computer and messed something up, or your instrument cluster is going out if your under 70k just take it to the dealer and they will replace the cluster for free. :)

    So I took my truck to get an alarm installed, and was told that the tachometer needs to be reset! Hmmmmmm!

    I was told to return, and that they would fix it.

     

    The tach is constantly moving from zero to about the 2 during idle. It increases with acceleration, however it moves up and down all the time???

     

    Does anyone have an idea what could have happened?

    I've got one...is a little chipped up....what are they made out of? Is it stainless? Can it be polished?

     

     

    Do you mean having the piece sent out to a chrome shop, or polished by machine?

     

    I would probably go to a chrome shop and have it chromed it will be easier to keep clean and shiny.

    I went to the muffler shop , however It had already been thrown out. If he comes across another tip he will hold it for me. This is a shop I frequent for service.

    I will be going to the shop as soon as the rain lets up we are expecting up to about 7 inches of rain today. I hope they still have it. Like I said if they have it is yours.

    I just had mine removed when i had the new magnaflo installed........... i left it there at the shop , it is near by and i will see if they still have ... if they do it is yours........

    installed one on a customers vehicle last year. they CAN be grounded out meaning they are not 100% effective. there was a member on here that had his truck stolen from a parking lot where all they did was put it on a tow truck and leave with the whole thing without starting it. if they want it bad enough they will get it. IMHO i wouldnt waste time with it. if u get a good 2way pager alarm such as any DEI (python,viper...my alarm is half and half lol) u will be able to get out there and smoke some ass when the alarm goes off. oh and if one of the pins on the key chain is bent... even YOU cant start the vehicle

    i bought a volant scoop and the thing doesn't seem to want to slide over my scoop anyone have the same porblem? or does it even slide all the way over the air duct????

     

    I just installed mine and had problems too! I finally got it in but it does not go in completely. How much did you cut???

    I had to remove the wheel well plastic cover. It seems to hit a brace bolt under there. What do you suggest???
