If anyone bought one of those grilles I'd be leary of paint chips; looks like they just painted the chrome center bar. The grille mesh is the regular silverado kind, and they are shipped from the guy with plastic covering the bar (keeping the paint from rubbing off). I mention this because the local body shops wouldn't even consider painting my stock chrome grille. Even with perfect prep, they say the paint chips really easy, showing chrome underneath
