    Brand new STS kit for 2003 Silverado SS, I have had this kit for a while but just never got around to installing it...This kit should fit all 4.8, 5.3 and 6.0 trucks. Asking $3900 plus shipping for everything.

    What comes with the kit:

    -upgraded GT-67 turbo which will put out more than enough boost to any stock motor out there..
    -boost controller
    -Tial Wastegate
    -Tial BOV
    -Autometer Cobalt Fuel Pressure and Boost gauges
    -Intercooler (may need extra piping for this)
    -Comp Cam (used), this is around 220 duration, I will get specs later
    -42lb injectors (used)
    -electric truck fans

    Yeah...I'm looking to get it very soon so see how much shipping would be to 31901. I guess 2day or whatever is faster than ground. My t-case just went so I want to take out the 3000 stall while its in the shop to save a little on gas.

    Yes I know this has been brought up a million times and I have already used search. I have called the ones near me on the master list that someone posted and could not find one big enough(138 was the biggest I found). So can anyone please help me out and find one in NC. or GA. I think SSS wheelbase is 143.5. If I can't get a dyno tune what would be the next best option for cam, long tube headers, 3000stall, intercooled sts GT67, cai, etc.?

    Yea thats true, I get a pretty good jump with awd and a 3000 stall, but can't hold it off too long. I run 9.1-9.2 in the 1/8th so you guys will catch me but I'm up for it. I have fun win or lose. Give me some info. on the track, when/where and I should be able to go.

    stick I'm going to destin for a week 21-28 and I'll probably head to PC for a night. I know you and your buddy (spyder? I think...with the L.) are both faster than me, but it will still be fun to see how bad you two beat me. lol

    That sucks, I had something similar happen to me in my old truck. I was behind this couple that was going 30 in a 45. I waited for the dotted lines so I could pass in the other lane, when I got over they jumped in front of me and locked up the breaks and I hit the left side of there bumper. They told the police they got over so I could pass them on the right! I got a call the next day from my insurance company saying that they had been told that I came up behind them and just slammed into them, and that the couple had gone to see a doctor. I told them what happened and in the end I had to pay for my truck and they paid for there car.

    Ok, it looks like I am finally going to put the STS on my truck. My question is should I do anything to the trans first to make it stronger? I have a shift kit already, but I was wondering if I should do anything else. I only plan on running 5-6lbs for awhile. Would it be worth the money to do anything to beef it up or will it be ok with low boost?

     

    Also, I am have a problem at WOT around 30 and 60 it wont shift it just bounces off the rev limiter. And sometimes a sylinoid will get stuck open and it wont shift out of 1st. I do have a 3000 stall and a shift kit. Could it be the stall or shift kit, or could it be in the tune?

     

    Any help would be great
