  1. Thats but why would you give and inexperienced driver that kind of car Thats why I say a person should be licenced for atleast 4yrs before they are allowed to drive anything that has that kinda power. Hell my first car was a Mustang but it was a 4cyl.
  2. my cat just bitches all the time
  3. Sweet. When I was at the Corvette plant a few weeks back I noticed the steering wheels with the paddle controls. I would mind having that setup in my truck
  4. I use to tow cars a while back. I'm sure if you read the laws for vehicles parked on the side of the road, you will see they thought it was an abanded vehicle and they will tow them. I KNOW it had to have a sticker on if saying it would be towed if it was not moved. I use to see people get pissed cause we towed their vehicle, but if it was parked illegally its their fault . It sucks when it happens to you but bald tires, dead battery and no tag, I would have towed it too. If it was towed on Thursday and she just noticed it yesterday good thing it wasnt stolen. My favorite ones to tow were the ones that parked right in front of the "Do not park vehilce will be towed" signs
  5. I'm gonna go with a 700R4, my friend has a tranny shop and is going to build one for me, I'm also going with the Edlebrock/MSD carb intake setup. I dont feel like messing with a computer on this one. One of my friends in Miami in has an 84 Olds Cutlass with the same setup - stock LS1, 700R4, 650 holley, flowmaster muffler and 373 gears putting 380+ at the wheels on a dyno. I figure I'll be in that area. I my do headers and full exhuast. I'm hoping to be sitting closer to 400hp I have one of the salvage yards I deal with sending me a complete 00-01 Z28 so I can take the complete drive belt set up and the diff with the disc brakes It's not going to be done right away, it maybe a few months but it sould be pretty fun when its done
  6. Might have a slight problem putting out that fire Looks great

    door ajar

The door ajar switch is located in the latch assy. They do go bad and are replaceable w/o replacing the whole latch.
  9. If I had one I would. I have the other 2 engines sitting in my shop already.
  10. Yesterday day my dad ask me if I wanted to drop my 350 into my Firebird When I asked him why, he told me he sold the motor thats in it. It's only a 3.1 V6, I bought the car as a second vehicle. It had a rod knock, so I rebuilt it then my buddy blew it up (still waiting for soem money) so I dropped another engine in. I was goingto drop a V8 in it then but did not have the time so I just left it a V6. This time I'm going go with the V8 My dad sold the motor to a customer of ours that has a 82 S-10, I think I'm going to leave the fuel injection on it and drop it to the S-10 (it's carburared now) My decision right know is what engine I want to put in it. My choices are a 350 with the GM Ram Jet F/I, fast burn heads and a cam or a brand new LS1 still sitting on the crate. The 350 I will net to get the computer to run the fuel injection, the LS1 I will go with the Edelbrock carburator manifold setup, plus I need to find the mounts to make it work. I still will need to change the tranny for either one, so thats no problem. Which ever way I go it's gonna be a 12sec ride Any suggestions on which set up to go with
  11. My system is one that was put together, it's part NOS and NX. The solenoids, nozzle and bottle heater are NX. The bottle, remote opener and purge solenoid are NOS. The nitrous and fuel pressure gauge are Autometer (I do have the NX guage) and all the switches ones I bought from Radio Shack, they just look better than what the system comes with. I would not go with the dry kit on ebay. The wet kit seems ok but I would spend a little more and get the nos or nx kit with a bottle heater. My system is done right even though it is not bought as a kit. I would spend a little more when it comes to nitrous. There is about $1100 in my system but I have the remote opener and the purge with is not really needed, which is about $250 $300 extra.
  12. I have a 150wet shot on my truck. A dry shot only injects nitrous into the engine, a wet shot injects fuel and nitrous into the engine. A dry shot is only good for up to about 75hp any more than that you want a wet set up, plus you will want you pcm tuned for the nitrous. I have a few bolt ons plus the nos and run high 12's. As for warranty it can void it. With the system done right you should have no problems but remember anything can happen. I have well over a 100 nos passes at the track and some on the street with 54k on the odometer and still have stock engine/trans with no issues yet.
  13. I saw it at the power tour in Gainseville. It is bad ass, the guy smoked the tires down the track kinda piss the track officals off
