Rob, it's a GNX copy thats doesn't have the rear panhard bar across the rear axle. I have to explain to people all the time its not a real GNX.

Moved from Lumberton, NC to Eagleville, TN. I'm working in Saudi Arabia as a contractor. My wife is driving my 03 Black SS around now, you might see it in the Murfeesboro or Nashville area.

Your not supposed be able to get an XDM in Cali. I'm not sure but I think it a has a 3 lbs trigger and I heard in Cali it has to be some around 5-6lbs. And I have hi-capacity clips. 17rd. But I bought my guns in Illinois. They're not as relaxed as AZ but they're close.
I was wondering about the not in Cali statement also. Never knew that, I'll be getting my XDM 9mm in about 30 days. A friend has one, I put a few dozen rounds down range with it and I had to have one.

I'll be there with my Grand National, we got 20 slots this year for GN's, Syclones and Typhoons. Maybe we need to get a few slots one of these years for the SS guys?

You can buy chrome one's just about anywhere that sells custom truck parts. I know for a fact that Stylin Concepts has them for sale. I just bought an SS bowtie from shopman1 through the forum.

Jay, thanks for the info. I'll check by the Truck Stop. The SS Bowtie looks sweet. I've already got a stainless steel with black letters "Silverado SS" plate on the front of my truck. I like the chrome or brushed look bowtie, the gold looks odd on a black truck.

Awesome story , thanks for sharing. I use to lived about 45 minutes from the old airstrip. Me and the wife went out to every event for quite a few years. We were sad to see it close up to auto events, we use to autocross out there also with the Tarheel and the Triad Sports Car Clubs.
