Sounds like it's hunting for idle... does it do it only on a cold start, or on every start? Mr. P. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> just about all the time actually. Its wierd it just developed. My brother has a 5.3 in his Avalanche had a similar condition and changed ignition wires and it helped. I just dont see how that can help from a technical standpoint. Im up to try anything though. ( Well almost!)

Hello all. Im about to turn 10k on my SS and Ive been noticing while idling the truck starts to surge about 200-250 rpm. Its kinda sporatic and I am wondering if anyone has encountered that. If so please advise. I am taking a long road trip soon and want the truck running perfect. Thanks in advance for any help provided.

I am currently running 6.5 MMats components in my doors along with 5.25 components in the rear doors. Whole truck has been Dynamated to handle the bass from the 2 MMats pro 3.0 10 inch drivers. This is all powered by 1 MMats 1500.1 and 1 MMats sq 4150. I found I was missing some punch. I am adding kickpanels to the front of the truck 2 MMats 6.5 midbasses. Just wondering If anyone has done 12 speakers yet and what the stage sounded like. I will email pictures when Im done. See my garage for pics of existing system.

check out www.subthump.com they have a large airspace box for 10s or 12s. i am using 10s. You dont have to move the seat and there is still plenty of room to but beefy subs in there. Check out my truck in the garage and see what I mean. I operate a stereo shop in brooklyn and didnt have the time to build a box. They did it fast and the transaction went great. They even did some custom work to it. They empossed the SS silverado logo in it. Good luck let me know if i can help out some.

Putting on my wheels this weekend and need tires. What is the best size tire to put on 22 inch wheels. I dont want it to rub much if at all. I was thinking 305/40/22. Please give me some feedback.
