  1. It is a really old plate, attached to a really old truck that is sitting in a field. I want this truck so bad too. I have a nice LQ9 sitting in my garage waiting to be dropped into her. I had a cop friend of mine run the plate and he came up with nothing. I also went to the DMV, but that also came up with nothing because of privacy laws. I guess it will be time for me to go back to the drawing board, and start asking around again.

  2. Can anyone tell me how I can track an old 1964-66 Chevy C10 just by the license plate that is on the truck? I found one that has a solid body, and nice patina, but I haven't been able to find who the owner is. Any information anyone can tell me would be appreciated. The truck is a Texas truck and the License plate # is 2NPL65. Thank you.

  3. So my time in the Marine Corps is coming to an end. I will be retiring soon and will be heading back to Texas on June 13th. I plan on moving to the Dallas / Fort Worth area after I find employment in that area. Until then I will be in a very small town north of Abilene, TX for a few weeks.

When I get settled in the DFW area I look forward to meeting any gear heads in that area to help out with a little wrenching. I plan on doing a cam swap, adding some electric fans, and other small projects.

So, who is in the DFW area in here?

  4. This is not for a Silverado SS, but it is truck related.

I hate to do this, but it looks like I will be deploying once again. I don't want these parts just sitting in the garage taking up space at this time. I will
list everything below. Everything is there to drop your C10 to the ground. All you have to do is add the Air management system, and you will be cruising low. I
wanted everything to be done right, so I went directly to Nate at Porterbuilt. I do not want to part this kit out at this time. I had to wait almost 3 months to
get this kit. They are backed up by at least 2 months at this time. If you want to save yourself the wait time, and a little cash let me know. I paid over
$4,000 shipped to my house for this kit. I will take the first $3,500, You pay for shipping. I don't have many pictures as everything is still in the box they were shipped in.

Everything is just like the pictures on their websites.

If you are serious about this package you can message me, and I will give you my cell phone number to talk about this kit. Spread the word.

  5. Yesterday I went to the shop and me and the painter threw around some ideas for what to do with the paint. After about an hour of laying down tape we came up with a design that I was happy with. Then we chose colors to lay down as well. He only got the cab done today, and I should have everything done by the end of next week. He is still waiting on a part to get my bed done, and to relocate the gas fill tube. I hope he finishes that by the middle of next week. So, here is what is done so far. It is a silver stripe bordered with a white pinstripe, but my phone camera didn't catch the colors too good.

  6. Not much of an update here, but I went in to talk to the painter and we laid out the graphics that he is going to paint. I didn't take any pictures of it taped out, but I hope to go in tomorrow and see where he is with it. It will definately be different but not too over the top.
