  1. Crappy videos, been raining lightly for a couple days and kept spinning. You can see the traction control keep kicking in, but you can get a little taste of what it sounds like. I got a chance to break in my new bedrug as well
  2. I used a powered antenna made to be used in the saddlebags of a mortorcycle. I mounted it under the dash near a defroster vent..... reception sux, it was better when i was using the stock antenna in the engine compartment. I'm considering re installing the stocker, but I love how clean it looks without it.
  3. I'm at work... gotta pay those bills ya know. And it's raining here, can't catch traction at 60 right now.
  4. please do, because it is..... poor SS
  5. get the rear O2s deleted even with high flow cats... it's going to be interesting trying to get cats to fit. May want to get v-bands and cut a little off of the collector to get them forward enough. I'm going to get a sound clip, but I've already ordered a new muffler, haha. The Corsa Diesel muffler would probably be great with cats, but it has that, whoosh down low and bark up top that the Sport has when catless. It's pretty damn wicked sounding, but too much for me. Totally kills the sleeper factor, haha. I ordered an Aero Turbine 4040XL. If it doesn't calm it down enough, I may go with high flow cats myself.
  6. nah, the stock plug wires clear fine.. the boots are close, but the wires clear easily. I had bought a set of GTO wires to install because I read that the 90* boot helped clearance, but they were too short by about an inch. went back with the stockers and no problems. I highly recomend these headers, they fit my 2wd perfect.
  7. I'll get some, but phase 2 depends on how bad the ole lady takes me to the cleaners, it aint pretty.
  8. Yep, got them on..... the headers fit great! I was very impressed with them, slid right in from the bottom, no clearance issues at all. The Tranny crossmember had to be removed, especialy with the modded Y I made. I'm also running a 4" Corsa Duramax catback. I'm still up in the air on the sound.... It sounds like a beast for sure, but still has a little rasp to it. May add a race muffler to tone it down a bit. Allready had the tune for the headers and rear O2 delete. It feels strong up top and doesn't feel like I lost any bottom end, still have traction problems off the line.
  9. I like belltech because of the factory style bushings they use, no squeaking for me like you get with the poly bushings.
  10. this is why we should call them what GM calls them. GMT800 vs GMT900. Anyway, if you could do the labor youself it would be well worth it... may not be worth it if you have to pay a shop to do it.... have to call around to see.
  11. looks good, but isn't that bleeder supposed to be the high point of the system?
  12. I have never been much on having a carputer, but this setup is pretty slick. SSS Carputer
  13. Looks great, I love that SS cover on that bodystyle.
  14. no, nothing nearly as exciting,,,,,, planning to do it wed afternoon
  15. I love it, make sure you get a 6.0 in that thing and go with SS wheels for sure and you are set. Great job.
  16. this is what a negative offset looks like on a lowered rig
  17. I'm torn on which look I like better, this is the more unique of the two looks for sure. Takes some nads to step out and start painting you wheels like that, but you pulled it off fo sho.... props!

    Amsoil?

You guys order it directly from Amsoil? Been thinking of going this route, $65 oil change once a year doesn't sound too bad.
  19. Contact Charles, he made his own brackets I believe and may be able to give you some heads up on the other stuff.
  20. only if you go all out... 4/6, bumper cover, roll pan, black 20s, yank the running boards and vent visors... even then it's tough to pull off w/o looking like primer. I wouldn't do it. get your drivetrain hammered out first.
  21. Hope you don't think I was busting balls, just saying, don't worry about it. No Probs.
  22. dood, you are overanalyzing this to death. Install the headers, install the tune, drive to the shop, swing by autozone to clear any codes that you may or may not have for free..... Every time you install a new tune, or disconect the battery i think, your pcm relearns your driving habbits, no biggie.
  23. either or.... install the spindles and crank those keys all the way up, or install the stock keys and leave them ucranked a bit. Either way you will have some fine tunning to do with the t-bars. I would reinstall the stockers with the spindles and sell the drop keys, unless you think you will want lower in the future. The stockers are good for a couple inches of drop with just a decrank.
