  1. Me Likey... 3 and 5 really look great
  2. I'd at least flat black the center of the grille so it didn't stand out so much.... looks good otherwise tho.... Oh, I'd rattle can those wheels for the time being, lol
  3. i'd be pissed if that thing went out, haha, guess you can just get it rebuilt tho...
  4. I "uncranked" the t-bars 1.5" and was still able to allign it to factory specs... I also replaced my front jounce bumpers with Belltech 4923 bump stops. A little shorter and a little softer than the factory snubbers, if anything, my ride is a little soffter than factory and I plan to upgrade shocks next.... Krambo, I'd take a good look at the front end after the shackle swap, maybe a half inch or so would do, but i hate seeing a truck with the ass dragging.
  5. that's a 33" tall tire... no way I would try that. A different brand with the same size will likely ride better than the factory tires. What does your drop consist of? Dropped t-bars, spindles, shackles, stock shocks? Let us know more about you setup and we may be able to help more. FWIW I don't think that upping the tire size is your answer. The 275/55/s have plenty of sidewall.
  6. yeah, phase 2 involves a tvs 1900 As expected, nothing goes according to plan.... put the kiddos to bed and went to work, then rounded off a nut on the stock collector bolts! Plugs, wires and header bolts going back on for the night. got to be driveable in the morning. I'm hanging it up until my next day off so I can make some noise, haha. Don't think my neighbors would appreciate being awaken by the sound of a sawzall....
  7. I'm sure I'll lose some power down low .... for now.
  8. the dm-100 is 52mm, the dm-200 is 60mm. 52mm = 2 1/6" and fits standard gauge mounts and pods.
  9. Lost the SS badge but gained some cool points I think. Just thought some would like to see how it fits, Very clean and OE Looking, Matches better than the pics show. Goes well with the subtle appearace I'm after. Plans are to add the boost and fuel pressrue modules later. PLX says the fuel pressure sensor will be available very soon. I just installed it and haven't uploaded the custom gauge faces yet, but you get the idea.
  10. It's a duramax catback w/ a little chop and weld.
  11. And I hope this Muffler isn't too restrictive Yes it's overkill and not ideal for my nearly stock setup, but this is just phase 1
  12. 1 3/4 primaries, 3" collectors, 3" to 4" Y and 4" all the way to the rear corner. Oh, and 321 SS to the merge, then 304 SS on out.... should be lifetime, I hope!
  13. Teaser pics..... to give you an idea of what I've been working on. It's sitting in my garage and I'm home alone with my 2 and 6 yr old daughters... no time to install it, it's killing me, lol.
  14. I think it's around 450 for a street tune and 550 for a dyno tune. Guess it depend on mods whether you save a few on a mail order or get an in person tune, but I'm planning to be blown and possible cammed w/ 80E in the near future. Might be a good idea to put it on the rollers to be sure the tune is hammered down.
  15. 4.3L I say paint the shaker Satin Black and no decals
  16. worst case is you swing by autozone and they clear the code for you for free.
  17. good idea... become one with a PC 7424... wax on, wax off danielson
  18. i think they are actually called jounce bumpers. they provide a progressive stop to assist the linear rate t-bars.......... looks normal to me.
  19. Nope payload capacity will be unchanged... install the shackles, remove the bracket for the bump stops and relocate them directly to the frame, untwist the t-bars to the desired height, get allignment and never look back. Oh, if you have custom exhaust, check for clearance due to the extra travel out back after bump stop relocation.
  20. the little motor that could...... I love it, great job bro
  21. 90 Blazer , 1 ton axles on 40" swampers Old lady drives an 08 Altima 3.5SL, w/ CVT, awesome tranny, suprising how hard it pulls.
  22. the relocator is a shitty piece of engineering. you would be better off fabbing something yourself if you have the means or know someone that can weld even half assed. I used it on my 03 and I will deffinately not use the pos relocator if i ever need to adjust the cb height again... but moving it up does work a lot of the time. On my 99 i just asked the muffler shop to section and reweld the stock bracket. raise it as much as possible and use spacers to lower it if needed. JMO
