    Autocad

I just started a job where I use Solidworks everyday, and I just want to know if anyone uses it for large assemblies? and how frustrated they get?
  2. Me and my old man both took mule deers over 200. His was 206 typical and mine was 202 non-typical. Both were shot within 1/2 mile of each other and they are definately related by how the horns curve and such. Only shot a whitetail doe this year:) Only had two days to hunt, so I was very happy to get what I did.

    2000 Alero

You think it will get better if I do that?!? Worth a try I guess.
  6. Hey guys, Have an Alero that is acting up a bit. When taking off the steering wheel moves back and forth. Not a lot but can definately notice it. If anyone knows of the cause please reply. TK
  7. Which gone is sixty seconds are you guys talking about? The newer one is definately my favorite. I guess its not a movie but they did make it into one, but I liked watching the Dukes of Hazzard too. The movie was a little cheesy, not bad though!?!
  8. Here's another for you guys Smartest Dog Four men were bragging about how smart their dogs are. The first man was an Engineer, the second man was an Accountant, the third man was a Chemist, and the fourth man was a Government Worker. To show off, the Engineer called to his dog. "T-Square, do your stuff." T-Square trotted over to a desk, took out some paper and a pen, and promptly drew a circle, a square, and a triangle. Everyone agreed that was pretty smart. But the Accountant said his dog could do better. He called his dog and said, "Slide Rule, do your stuff." Slide Rule went out into the kitchen and returned with a dozen cookies. He divided them into 4 equal piles of 3 cookies each. Everyone agreed that was good. But the Chemist said his dog could do better. He called his dog and said, "Measure, do your stuff." Measure got up, walked over to the fridge, took out a quart of milk, got a 10 ounce glass from the cupboard and poured exactly 8 ounces without spilling a drop. Everyone agreed that was good. The Government Worker called to his dog and said, "Coffee Break, do your stuff." Coffee Break jumped to his feet, ate the cookies, drank the milk, shit on the paper, sexually assaulted the other three dogs, claimed he injured his back while doing so, filed a grievance report for unsafe working conditions, put in for Worker's Compensation, and went home on sick leave.
  9. No trans. temp gauge? I thought 6.0's came with that.
  10. I don't think its too bad. I kinda like the hood too. Get rid of the wheels and throw on a black hockey stripe, and I think it would be nice.

    Oil Question

Okay I don't fully know too much about oils, but I have a friend that likes to use 15W40 in the summer for his vehicles and then switches to a synthetic 0W30 in the winter. He says the 15W40 protects the engine better when it is hot out. Is there any truth to that.
  12. don't know if it was posted before but here is another little writeup: http://www.pickuptruck.com/
  13. This is the only picture I had of the box and the SS, sorry. http://s66.photobucket.com/albums/h260/tk68/
  14. I had a box in my SS too. I will try to see if I have any pictures, but I think the only ones I have are from a distance.
  15. I would settle for .75/litre........We hit 119.9 cents/litre up in beaver country. (129.9 cents/litre for 91)
  16. I've used 87 since day one. For me the difference between premium and regular is about 30-40 cents a litre. Farm fuel is very hard to find in premium form. So based on that it is about $30 a tank.
  17. Thanks guys. Got a new regulator and the steaks have never been better!!!
  18. Hey guys, Got a problem with my BBQ and don't know the problem. When the burners are shut off and the tank open, the regulator vents the propane off. When the burners are ignited the flame is very low, even on high settings. Is this an issue with my regulator or the burner? Any help would be nice. Thanks.
  19. 1161.2, what are those, gophers?
  20. Its not all that bad for weight, all-aluminum. I also heard a couple years ago when it came out that it was capable of over 20 mpg, maybe even 25 if my memory serves me correct.
  21. My old man always says that one, and nobody ever knows what I am talking about when I say it......nice to see somebody else using it.
  22. Thats worse than what happened to my truck. Was out at the farm this spring helping out with seeding, get home around midnight, have a shower, check my email......and all of a sudden hear a horn honk, go to check whats going on and there is a truck spinning doughnuts all but 15 feet from my truck. Just like any other farm it has that stuff you call gravel for the driveway and yard. Glad the old man was on his way home from the field when it happened, and chased them into town, got the plate, now the idiot has a nice deductible to pay..... Anyways good luck with insurance. Maybe you could paint it red now!!!
  23. That always amazes me how the tires can ripple like that.
  24. Okay, took a couple quick pics of the new truck. http://s66.photobucket.com/albums/h260/tk68/?
