My fiancé is super happy his truck is rolling coal again. This new tune kicks his old tunes booty!!!! I'm experimenting with mine now. . Loving it! It goes well with my exhaust and cold air. Now I need to put in the stat. I've had that way too long too.

Yeah!!! My buddy, Dustin Kirkland, bought an 03 SS!!!!!! He helped detail my SS last year. He finally bought one!!!! I told him to get on here! So stoked!!!!!

I think we are arriving Friday pm or early Saturday. Maybe I can meet up with u all Saturday sometime. I hope to bring the ss

Hey all!!! Well he has been modded.....finally! Last week he got a Line-X bed liner. This past weekend he had his cold air intake (k&N) and magnaflow exhaust installed. Wooty woot. Tune and stat soon. Also this week the Undercover (thank you to Hank again) is being painted to match the color of the SS. Im stoked to have something other than stock. lmao. In two weekends it will be detailing weekend. yee haw. Thank you to all of those who suggested parts. Oh by the way is there an App for SilveradoSS?

Hey all!!! Thanks for the info!!! I think I want to go with the K&N and Magnaflow exhaust. I dont want the ss to sound too manly and i heard magnaflow should fit my tastes. lol The BF is mentioned an EFI Live tune system......Im in the dark about the tunes.

I cant wait to have new parts and detail the crud out of him. Hes a bit on the dirty side right meow.

Good luck with that! Mine was working fine until last year. When i touched the button the lights would like up for a couple seconds then turn off. Im not sure at what time the heater was sizzling. I assume it happened before the heater stopped working. Crazy stuff!!!!!! This truck never ceases to amaze me! Let me know what you find!

Hey all! SS went in for an oil change, new front brakes and a new tie rod (sp?). He also came out with a new seat heater on the driver's side. It looks as though the seat heater started sizzling. Cool eh?

IN the summer I am usually found at the beach on the weekends sooooo yes!!! I do not live far from OC in MD

hmmmmmm It is def hard to keep the cover from being retarded when the wind is howling. I think I will wait for the garage for the jag and the SS will have to be cleaned almost every weekend. uggs. oh well. It is better than scratches and having to repeat the 9 hours of fun/work!

That is good to know. My friend and I spent over 9 hours claying, buffing and waxing the SS Then another 7 hours on my jag. I might nix the cover. The jag is covered now. It is a PIA to clean at least 2 cars a weekend. It is fun, but sometimes I do not have time. Love detailing I wish i didnt have to work!

Hey all! Does anyone cover their SS? If so, then what are you all using these days? I threw away my old truck cover and I need a new waterproof cover that can withstand some wind. My new place only has room for the jag in the garage. The SS will not fit. What do you all think? I like the fitted covers that have the slots for the mirrors. Any suggestions are appreciated!!!!
