im looking at an 03 sss black.. ive had a red one which was the 03 with the tt kit then i bought my wife (fiance at the time) a 04 blue one since then sold both of those went to a ctsv which i totally hate the car and wouldnt recommend one to anyone. she drives a cadillac srx now and thats a pretty cool car/station wagon thingy.. i just sold the ctsv to buy another 03 just like that year for some reason lol..

i thought about getting a tbss. i found a black 03 with about 18k miles on it very clean about 2 hours from me im gonna go take a look at it this weekend. then if i get it straight to the shop for mods

mr p how many miles are on yours?? im gonna offer the guy 22-23 grand and see if he bites if so then ill take it. Other wise ill be traveling to get one and most ive found have high miles. the one i found also has never seen a winter so thats a plus..

hey everyone im in the market for a 2003 silverado ss. Ive had both blue and a red ss so i think this time ill try a black one out. I need it to be mostly stock because of my plans and anything modded would just be a waste to me. Prefer less then 30k miles if possible also and super clean i know i know im picky but thats what im looking for.. I found one about 2 hours from me but i think he is a little high on price its a very very clean 2003 with light mods exhaust and cai it looks like has around 18k miles on it and he has it posted for 26.5 i think thats about 5 grand to high what do you guys think? thanks for any input

some may remember me some may not.. I used to have a 2003 sss that had twin turbos i also had a 2004 stock ss i had a change of jobs so we sold the trucks. Plus i couldnt keep a tranny in the truck and at the time couldnt afford the 4l80 conversion. Got my business up and running good now so im back looking for another ss. Definetly will have the twin kit on it and a 4l80 underneath it unless someone has figured out a magical formula on the 4l65e.. just started looking again yesterday so hopefully in the next few weeks ill find the right one and start the long process of modding the truck!! just wanted everyone to know i havent died and im back!!
on a side note i talked to the guy that bought my 03 ss and he said its running 11.40's off the bottle got the tune figured out and an awsome tranny didnt say what i was trying to get him to sell it back but he is keeping it..

the kid that bought my truck just got back with me and said he wants to keep the truck. said he went 11.40 last week finally got a sweet tune on it and a tranny to hold it. so the truck is flying just not with me driving unfortunately

yeah i sold the truck when my shop went down.. Im looking at getting it back actually. I wouldnt say it was slow by any means truck weighed over 6000lbs and ran at 7-8 lbs of boost 12.6 with a not great tune and it wouldnt shift mid track unless we let out of it then got back into it lol. That was two days or so before i blew the 2nd sun shell out of it. If i do get it back its gonna need a 4l80 for sure. we will see what happens worst case im gonna build a new one.. I would have loved to see the full potential of the truck. oh by the way ive been gone for some time started my own bussiness and been way busy so hi to all the guys they may remember me and to the ones that have come in since my departure last year sometime!!There was a twin turbo SSS on here. It wasn't very fast at all. -

They sell just that piece I bought it for my truck a few weeks ago. They are gonna rape your a$$ on price though. I payed almost 3 c notes for it.
300 bucks just for that one piece??? damn oh well its gotta be fixed.. did it atleast come painted??

friend of mine bought my 2004 arrival blue ss from me last week someone tried to rip the passenger door cladding off while we were in a store.. if anyone has this piece that they would sell let me know or does anyone know if the dealership would sell just that piece?

no they unfortunatley wont fit the ss trucks. I think you could get an adaptor that fits on the 6 lugs to make them 8 lug if you wanted.. But i just threw this out there thinking possibly some of the guys might have a 1 ton truck out there or know someone that does that wants some really nice rims cheap
