Hello to all, have been restoring a car (not done of course) so not much time to mod the truck! Blue 04 SS. Bought used in Jan 05' w/ 5400 miles! It's been out of warranty so I figured I'd do some mods & maintenance. I'll be here more often to get the best advice on the net. Gonna do full exhaust & a tune up, CAI, and get a tune after I'm done. Just turned 50K. Bassani Cat back so far........ordering headers this week! Thanks Dave K.

Thanks for the replies fellas........I have it down to 2 Dynatechs, or the ARH set up. I normally like to buy new stuff, run it through my Biz. They are about the same $$$1400 + ship. Who do you guys normally buy from?? Pulling the trigger this week!! CAI & tune will be next.........Dave K.

The real cowl hood has been on my mind for some time! Didn't know they were out there. Are they steel hoods? I have been searching for a rusted chevelle SS hood that I could cut up and patch into a SSS hood. Has anyone done it yet? What are you thinking for the induction side under the hood? I think this is the over the top exterior mod..........Dave K.

[Cat Back On The Way, Header Help]

Hi fellas, not a regular poster but need some advice. This is the first mod to my Blue 04' SS. I have read many header posts!! My bassani cat back is on the way, I still can't decide on headers!! I want to use cats and retain all stock emission hook-ups. I want long tubes, and high flow cats. Not concerned with price! Performance, best quality and fit are my main concerns.
