  1. How did the Yokohama's treat you? I'm thinking about getting a set for myself. Any reason you wouldn't go back with them?
  2. Friday: 115 Bourbon Street (good bar on Southside of Chicago) Saturday: Drive to Columbus, IN thru Indy 500 traffic for wedding Sunday: Hang out / relive college a little at Purdue University Monday: Drive Home and Chill
  3. Nice. I also have the Outlaw system, but I didn't get the Outlaw "Badge" on mine. I only got a sticker. I still like it though.
  4. Neat pics, very fascinating. Now I see where the containers that we see on trains and in container yards all over Chicago end up. I used to do a little model railroading and train watching and the intermodal (container) trains were always my favorite for some reason. Thanks for the pics.
  5. Its midnight and I was on the way home from a softball game, I'm on the phone with the g/f, not paying too much attention to how fast I'm going. I'm on a fairly busy road (during the day time) / 2 lanes in each direction - type of street. Speed limit is 35. All of a sudden I see those "pretty" lights behind me (unmarked, black Crown Vic). I immediately hang up with the g/f, say a few swears, pull over and park. The Officer was a nice guy, he told me it was a 35mph area and he had me locked in at 47mph. Asks for license and proof of insurance, I find my license right away, I pull out my insurance card and its an old card (new ones were still at home). I frantically (sort of) act like I'm looking for my current card (check glove box, console, wallet, etc.). I can't find it, and pleasantly and politely tell him that I do have insurance but I don't have current proof with me. Long story short he gives me a verbal warning on the speeding , and writes me a citation for no proof of insurance. Turns out its not going to cost me anything but gas money to the Circuit Court Building (after 3 business days), I show them proof of insurance, get my license back, and should happily be on my merry way. It was a little wake up call for me watching my speed and driving while on the cell phone. I know, not a crazy story, but anyway, call me lucky, I wanted to share, and it might be food for thought for anyone who may get pulled over in the future.
  6. "Leaving college in 4 years is like leaving the party at 10:30."
  7. I actually took an awesome sailing trip (with some college friends) in the British Virgin Islands over New Years. We were on a private, 2 mast, 57' wooden sailing boat/yacht. There were 4 of us, plus a Captain and a Gourmet Chef. We sailed the islands for 7 days. If you're into snorkeling, AMAZING scenery, beaches, tiki hut type bars, culture, etc. I highly recommend a sailing trip in "The Islands." During the summer I may take a trip to Palm Beach, FL and ATL, GA for a couple weekend-type getaways, and also maybe a road trip to Michigan in the SS, as well.
  8. The SS badge on the tailgate seems a little "off" too. Rims look ok IMO.
  9. I like it too. I think the black is a good contrast to the red of your truck. Edit: That hood is pretty sweet too.
