  1. LOL, I did the same thing last year. Sold the SS after 14 years, wow.  I only had 36,000 on it and the Chevy Dealer offered $8,000 on a train. I said NO not going to do that. Sold it for $25,000.  It was perfect.  I got a 2017 Silverado 2500 turbo diesel 650 HP.  changed the headlights, the grill, bed rug, retractable cover. Oh, I made a custom bow tie for it as well. I thought I would never sell it as well but the new stuff was just to much to pass up.

  2. Hey Everyone, Happy New Year.

    Guys. It is SOLD!

I have been asked, is the just over 32000 millage correct? This is why, I was close to work when I worked, we have 3 other cars, and I have been retired for 11 years!

    SS:

It has always been garaged. No smoke. No Rust! Very low mileage, just over 32000.

Last year had every fluid and all belts replaced. New red top battery and tires then as well. Windows tinted. Trim parts in the interior are Arrival blue Carbon Fiber. Color matching rug/mud mats. Automated step on driver side. Have original never used mats. Mud flaps with SS on them.

It has a bed rug and an ARE hard cover on it. Changed the grill. Cold air intake installed. Talking backup system. Bed is like brand new under the bed rug.

Color matching hard cover for the Spare tire under the bed. It had a hitch as well.

Oh, it also has the shopman1 SS Bowtie on it as well LOL.

Reason thinking about selling it, I have a hot rod in mind for a purchase and have 3 other vehicles. I don't think you will find a better SS in the US. Have all documentation, posters etc.

Hey shopman, you said you live in Florida, about how rusted underneath would you say the trucks that come fron your state are? I'm looking at an 06 Silverado from there, but feel like it would be pretty eaten up underneath, any info would really help!

  4. I am thinking about selling my blue 03 SS.

It has always been garaged. No smoke. Very low mileage, 43000.

Last year had every fluid and all belts replaced. New red top battery and tires then as well.

Just put all new shocks on it. It has an ARE hard cover on it.

  6. Seems like most of the vehicle market is indulged in fuel econony and making vehicles that take the "driving" out of driving. Cars that parallel park themselves, brake when you aren't paying attention enough to do it yourself, seats that vibrate because you're veering out of your lane, the list goes on and on unfortunately.

To bad they don't shock your but when you text!

  7. Hey Guys,

My 03 SS is still looking good. Only 43k on it. I got 10 years out of the stock battery using the Tender. At 10 years I changed all belts timing etc. all oil all plugs, wires on and on. My tires were still good but old so I changed them becase we were moving to Florida and did not want a blow out!

I never had any intention of selling my SS, love it. But when I read that they may have a new SS in the mix I think if they make it I will sell my SS for sure and get the new one. I just removed the flames for they were on for like 12 years and showing some age. New ones coming.

So, this is information is put forth as a pre sale kind of marketing in case they make it LOL.
