i like waynes dyno. i hardly ever let someone else work on my shizzle- but wayne is pretty well respected in the area, and he's got a dyno to boot! good rates, good guy- he did a gear swap for me about 2 years ago. what kinda work are you talkin about? pete

I have to thank many an SRT thread, a few "Dodge owner's" threads, and Jaymoney....... Actually, this is a pretty good forum. Didn't we actually MEET on another GM truck forum Pete, the Xtreme Dephi forum? I remember they were all talking about how fast their trucks were, and the majority of the posters lived near me. I brought out SuperTruck.... and raced Kasper and Digger. I think that's the only forum where I met most of the members. I still see Blue and a few others from time to time........ Your truck sure looks good! im not really into pissing matches either, im sure we'll all meet up in the future. once the beer comes out, who cares who's faster- unless youre takin about a beer bong- lol. how've the lines been at GLD the past couple years? t&t still on wednesday nights? last time i was there they were making some improvements to the joint, better parking lot, bathrooms etc.. i always had better times at byron.. but gld is only like 30 mins for me so i almost always went there. pete

lol- whatever dude. youre not the only one with probs- i have my own gremlins. that 13.5 i was out test and tuning also- new trans has a bit of trouble shifting 1-2 and 2-3 at wot unless i let out about half way, so dont think my "best" is my best either. but, im a run whatcha brung kinda guy. we could bench race all day long "if my suff was workin, if i did this/did that"- end of the day is, i ran a 13.5, you ran a 13.3, and i dont call that walkin, especially cuz our trap speeds are within a couple hundreths ... but so you dont cry about it- your truck is quicker than mine, obviously. heh- guess i missed the whole second page i got linked- so its commonly agreed they run similar times in similar conditions with similar set-ups.... then the argument is, what?... whats the beef? another argument that comes down to styling?- i have more room than you, blah blah blah... i have awd and you have 2, blah blah blah.. ive heard the 4.7 is quicker, blah blah blah. this is what i know, and this is why i have had my truck for 6 years, and will not be parting with it anytime soon: i still get random people approaching me in parking lots, i still get these gawking stares by whoevers waiting at a light at an intersection im crossing, and i still sometimes get offers from people in the market at gas stations.... who cares if the pump behind me is reading $70, and the odometer reads 165 miles... not me. its a price i pay to enjoy what i love- rumbling through town, loping at a stoplight, knowing i am the current envy of whatever street im currently driving down. i would assume that most of you here can attest to the same situations, and the same feelings i have about my own pride and joy, with your own. so again i ask- who cares?... cant we all just have what we like, and respect people who have something that they like, even if we would have done it a different way? pete

its good to be back- and man, did i miss just bummin around town. the only thing i got for her while i was away was a set of DR's... took her to the track a couple times since ive been back... its rained every time ive gone so far, but ive gotten the same ET as i did last year in optimal weather, running 20's on all corners. if i can get the good air again, ill finally catch the infamous 13.9x. so far 14.2 is all she'll give me.
