  1. I'm Also looking for a set, and i need them shipped to Canada... If anybody comes across a set in stock please PM me. Thanx Matt
  2. Not sure if you still have them but i would like to be put in line for those rims thanx
  3. So my nightmare began thursday night, I made the mistake of letting someone else drive my truck and he crashed it. It jumped the curb and hit two trees. One rim destroyed, left front fender complete garbage, bumper reinforcement mangled as well as a bunch of brackets, and the bumper cover shattered into multiple pieces. Wondering if you fellas can help a guy out and see if you have any parts laying around you wouldn't mind selling and shipping to Calgary, Canada. I need one silver rim for sure. A left hand brake vent, bumper cover if its in good shape and OEM. Im pretty sure I can get everyting else new. Thanx guys Matt
  4. Is that an OEM front bumper assembly? If so would you be willing to box up and ship it?? Thanx
  5. Pilot here Been flying since i was 16, currently flying for Air Canada. Good luck with the training, can be alot of fun! Matt
  6. Well boys i just got the dreaded call from my Trans guy. He pulled my trans today and found that the input shaft is sheared, he says i overpowered it and its the first one he has seen broke. He hasn't got it completely torn down yet but he said the fluid looked cherry so i'm hoping thats the end of the damage. I told him to order a billet input shaft, quoted me about 700 bucks ... hopefully that will hold her for longer than a year this time.. Now we know Matt
  7. Ok so i went out and pulled the stick cold, it was just above the cold mark.. I started the truck and let it run for five minutes and checked again and it read way over the hot line.... so i'm guessing that is a sure sign that the pump went. That would explain the whining noise i hear from under the truck! Who knows, hopefully i will find out this weekend or early next week.....At the end of the day, whatever, its only money....easy come easy go, or so i'm told... Matt
  8. Thanx for reply Mr P, i was wondering what you would have to say... being the transmission guru and all The more i think about it the more i'm leaning towards the pump, i'm pretty sure that the original pump was reused when i had my tranny built a year ago, so it was most likely the weakest link, that would explain the whirring/whinning noise that i hear with the truck idling. I'm hoping that i will be able to get my truck into the shop this weekend to have it tore down, so we should find out next week what the problem was... For those of you guys that have done the 4L80E swap, what kinda dollars are we talking over and above the tranny purchase? I might spend the winter sourcing parts for the swap if i can get my money tree up and going.... Thanx guys Matt
  9. yeah the 1-2 shifts can be pretty violent, thats exactly where i would expect parts to blow up.. I do agree with you though, if its not the T-case its most likely the Input, output or the TC. If it is the TC i won't be going with another TCS unit. Most likely go with a PI, what stall and size would u guys recommend for my setup? I do a little towing, under 7500lbs. Matt
  10. Hhhmmm I was really hoping it was the Transfer case(cheaper).... I just can't really understand what would break in the tranny while doing 60mph, especially when i'm only pulling 6 pounds of boost and at a 4000 foot elevation... If something was gonna break it should break when i launch.....right? I guess i will start by dropping fluids first and then the T-case and go from there.... Do you guys think i would be able to see the chain pilied up through the drain plug?? Thanx ss wrecker Matt
  11. Hey guys, a year ago my tranny went and i dropped three grand into it for new hard parts, upgrades and labour. I was merging into traffic this afternoon, got to 60mph and heard an audible bang/pop under full throttle. I have absolutely no gears and when its idling i can hear a slight whirring noise coming from the Tranny/transfer case region. Any ideas what may have broke, i'm guessing input shaft or the TC. Although it is a TCS with a 2200 stall. Any chance it was the Transfer case? I'm now trying to figure out if i should drop another 3-5 grand into this shitty tranny or order one from FLT? What are your guys thoughts, keep in mind i live in Canada and everything is twice as much up here for some stupid reason. Thanx guys Matt

    Sema

Im sure this has already been asked, but its only a week away. It'll be my first time there and i am stoked to go. For you veterans of SEMA what do you suggest are the must see things?? Matt
  13. I have to disagree a little on this one, when questions are reasked it spawns new ideas from new and old members, its what makes it a forum and not just a site for looking things up like a dictionary. Ive been a member on here for a while now, and my main motivation for loggin in and checkin it out is to see new solutions and answers for the problems that plague us all. This does not mean that stupid questions like "what is the offset of the stock rim" should be asked over and over again, that is frustrating and a waste of time for everyone. It is a balance and maybe a Newbie section is just the answer?? Matt
  14. What brand hood is that??? Your truck looks great..
  15. Thats more than i paid for the whole truck!
