The actual museum has tours on sat and sun we will have a personal tour like the last time. The actual vette plant is only on friday, if there is enough interest in the plant tour we can do it also last year it was just TAWSS04 and I but we enjoyed it. Jim

I just got my letter this week also and I had to replace the cluster panel last march, cost me $428.00 so I have filled out the claim to get my money back. My speedometer kept messing up last year ended up with a d--m speeding ticket from it too.

Pretty much the same look, it looks like someone went psycho on the dash and chopped with a knife it makes me sick. Mine is right above the radio right in plain sight shining like new money.

I know I read a while back about some guys whose dash was peelling like and wondered if there was a way to repair or not. (My story) I got an air freshner from yankee candle and you hang it on the mirror, well it is an oil like freshner which slowly dries out. Well the oil leaks out when it runs down to the bottom of the freshner and it made my dash bubble up bad and start peeling off. It looks like s...t. I had remembered about the other dashes and wondered if there is any hope of fixing or will it keep peeling all the way across.

I've been in factory work for 16 yrs. Started out in Indy at Logo Atheletic Apparel putting sport logos on shirts and coats for 6 yrs. I have now been making plastic bottles for 10 yrs at Silgan Plastics, which makes bottles for Kingsford lighter fluid,Roundup bottles, Huggies shampoo and baby product bottles, assorted health and beauty aid bottles and so forth. I started out packing the bottles now I am an operator that works on the blowmolding machines that make the bottles. Sounds easy but you wouldn't believe the process in making a freaking plastic bottle that someone is just going to throw in the trash when it is empty. But it pays me good money.

Actually to tour the plant, has to be done on friday, they don't tour on the weekend so I will need to know who is interested in the tour to see about it. Last year I had the event for the whole weekend but Tim(Taws04) and I were the only ones that went to the plant tour on friday. So I need to know who is interested in it so we can set up the weekend for it. Thanks Jim

Sorry to hear man I know how it is I came head to head with one last night also but we didn't meet up like you did. It is that time of year all the time hear in Ky, I have to avoid them every night on my way home from work, been several close calls.

Well I hit 50,000 last night, I had tried so hard to keep the miles off of my truck but the old car I usually drive back and forth to work has quit on me with a full tank of gas. I think the fuel pump went out so I have had to drive the SS to work 40 miles round trip to work and back.

Well guys I am sorry I havent replied in awhile, My wife has been very sick and may be looking at surgery so I am going to have to postpone the event for awhile. I will try to keep posted on what I can do later on. Sorry. Jim

Sorry been so long in replying, I didn't have any luck in getting the dragstrip for our event, wondering if everyone wants to still have it anyway on Aug,26-27 or wait to see if maybe I can have any luck at a later time. Let me know Jim

Bad news just got off the phone with Beech Bend and 25-26 are out, can't use track, he is going to let me know about 18-19 though.

Badges are to get in the museum, I had them made last yr with the logo at the top of the screen with SilveradoSS.com, and everyones user name on it.(comes with a lanyard). I am probably looking at the 25-26 weekend, the only time I can get off work. Got to talk to Beech Bend this week, keep ya posted. Jim

Looks like you and SSThunder (lol), I hope it will be more than that. I will need to know for sure soon so I can see about getting badges made like last yr, if everyone wants them they are $8.00 and I will have our names on them with the website logo and list of events. They also come with a lanyard. This yr though I will need money upfront I got screwed by a couple of guys last yr. I'm leaning toward the 17-19th weekend but I need to know what the interest is of anyone wanting to tour the Corvette Plant on friday or just have the meet on saturday. I will want to set the date for sure by at least next wednesday to give everyone time to try to get off for it. So lets get rollin Thanks Jim

Just got back from the museum and I have either Aug 18-19 or 25-26. I still have to try to get a hold of the track but I neeed to know which weekend is best for eveyone. Let me know soon. Thanks Jim. Just talked to the museum I am going to meet thursday with them to set the dates, I told her I was leaning toward August sometime. I know we can't have the last weekend and I don't want to have it when Beech Bend is having the magazine in. I still have to get a hold of Beech Bend, I don't know if we can do like we did last yr or I know he offered like a couple of thou (not sure exact amount) to have the track to ourselves. I know we didn't have enough participation to do that, we would have had to pay like around a $100.00 a piece. Hopefully I will have more info by Friday. I am open for new ideas this year from anyone who came last year as what to do different. I can also check into touring the Corvette Plant again on the friday, Last year it was just me and Taws04SS. Let me know.

What the f-- is that dodge ad doing on my post and how do I get rid of it?

Just to let those interested know I will be talking to the Vette Museum next week about setting the dates for our 2nd meet. I had hoped to see them this week but our wires got crossed and I am going to the mountains tomorrow. Hopefully I will be getting the info by next week. Thanks Jim

I would love to have a TBSS I am having trouble getting together with the corvette museum they won't return my calls so I am trying to work out a different place also in case we cant be there Keep you posted. Jim

Still haven't heard from the museum, She told me it was real busy right now I have emailed her to try to give me some dates.
