one bad SS

hey guys, my parents wouldnt get me an SS when i turned 16 two yrs ago cause they found out what it stood for, haha. so instead i got an HD crew cab loaded like an SS. ive had no problems until recently my six disc changer wont eject. i can play all the Cd's, switch back and forth from CD or change tracks, its just when i hit the eject button the CD player wont eject the Cd and it work for a lil while (day or two) until finally it finishes "initializing" and it will play again, ive always been impressed with you guy s's knowledge and i was wondering if this was something i could fix easily myself before i took it to a dealership.... any ifo is appreciated. thanks yall take it easy

someone on here i believe used to make custom bowtie's for silverado ss's i was wondering how i could get up with him? any info would be appreciated. thanks , yall take it easy
