Please please do not go to speed inc.. Their tuning is a joke I can show you 9 files from totally diffrent camaros that they tuned.. 2 supercharged 1 heads and cam 2 other cam only cars 1 sts turbo car 1 nitrous car 1 horsepower car. ALL THE SAME TUNE they couldn't tune a piano if they had a how to book.. I would suggest you do a mail order before I would even consider them.

Yeeeah.. diffrent valve springs.. are going to be needed for sure. And more extensive tuning than you would expect.. and I don't know that you would like that idle all that much. And with a cam that big your gas mileage is going to be in the toilet.. remember the more air you move.. the more fuel you need.. its how efficent it moves it is what makes it good mileage and good driveablity.

The lift on that cam is obscene if you ask me for a something you put alot of miles on..

In his truck there will be a pressure spike.. it surges hard under a load in power enritchment.. you will defintely see that in the fuel pressure becuase it changes at the rail.

Any recommendations for Heads and cam? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Bang for your buck the Dart 225 castings are some of the best heads out of the box in my opinion.. as far as cam.. simply depends on how lopey you want it to be and how agressive of a profile and ramp.. there are a few gen 3 grinds from comp that are off the shelf that work fantastic with those heads.

Corsa touring is not very loud.. the sport is the louder of the two and the more you do to the truck the louder anything gets.. headers ditching the cats ect.. just makes it louder and louder.. The magnaflow system with the secondary resonators is a fairly mild system in my opinion quiet enough to be respectable around town but when you get on it, it has a nice growl. I have both versions of corsa.. right now running the touring muffler to quiet my truck up as much as I can. But I am in the process of possibly selling my headers so if that happens and I go back to stock cats and a diffrent header.. I will use the sport muffler again. I have never gotten pulled over for sound it really just depends when you jump on it and who's around.

Why dont you just have a tune done face to face.. if you are in northwestern Il I can do that for you at a short version of PCM' for less's price.. And if you are unhappy with the tune I can put your stock one back in no harm no foul your money refunded.. And I can explain to you in person what is done in the tune and show you the effects. I just did a tune for Bonj87 from the forum as well as 1fastss from las vegas. And everything I know as far as tuning goes has been learned from zippy as well as learning as I go. I have a low 13 second naturally asperated truck that gets 23 mpg highway with a fairly large cam and a set of dart heads. That should give you a little of my experience.

If you are looking to get power and keep or gain mileage for sure another good way is to do a head and cam swap.. I went from 14mpg local 18 highway to about 18 around town.. when im not beating on it to 23 highway with the cruise set at 78 mph.. and my truck runs low 13's granted its 2wd... it still has power to spare a similar setup in an awd truck I would guess mid 13's and at least 18-19 highway.

The Ipod harness I would have to purchase.. I don't have an ipod im sure I could get one.. I belive the wiring adapter harness is diffrent for the actual bose system. The steering wheel controls should be the same last time I checked it was from 03-current. I will call on the ipod harness tomorow see what they cost.

it'll bolt right in so to speak haha just let me know its all boxed up and ready to go. If need be I can prolly get you anything else you need to install it so can fast4popper on the fourm but I have a guy locally I can get install parts from. The dash mounting kit is about 25 bucks then you would need the door chime harness... I cant remember how much that is and the actual wiring harness to make it plug and play.. so you would basically do your wiring out of the truck and just plug it right in.. I think that harness is about 25 bucks also but the chime harness im unsure of. You need that so your factory power door locks work properly and do not set a code

Also the PAC interface for the steering wheel controls specific to our trucks and the alpine head unit will be included with the xm tuner for 800 shipped.

Yes it is touch screen. Nav is available but I do not have it with this unit it is a seperate part.

Hey Guys even though my site is downed currently (it's being revamped since our old server got shut down without us knowing) I wanted to see if anyone wants to jump in on a Magna GP I know the prices did go up but I want to see if anyone is intrested. If I run this GP this will be the last one before I relocate to Nevada. Procharger pricing also will be brought down if anyone wants to get on with a procharger setup.
