  1. Texas speed? One stop shopping for a complete 408 shipped to your door? They also have forged 6.0L for about half of a 408.

Just got off the phone with them. Very nice guys. They have what I am looking for sitting on the shelf.

Now I just need to see how bad the heads are. :puke:

    NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

    Same thing I said!!!!

  2. I gutted my kitties awhile back, now it won't pass emissions. I was going to replace with the spun metallic Magna's, but didn't know what diameter the stock piping is. It looks like 2.5", but all the post on here are for the 3".

Any insight would be appreciated so I can order these bad boys!!

    Thanks guys,

    S.C.

  3. I'm sorry, but I think what your asking for will never be found. That is like saying trucks #000131, #001923 and #109991 built on the assembly line in 2003-2004 were VHO's? Is that kinda what your asking us? These were like "experiments" or teaser trucks if you will to see how they would sell to the general public at that period in time, an answer to the well selling (at that time) 1500 Ram "Hemi" with 20" wheels. The VHO did not come with numbered plaques or certificates like the 2006 Intimidator SS Silverado's did.... I hope this answers some questions??? :dunno:

That is exactly what I am asking. :banghead:

  4. There are two things about the Procharger comments I don't agree with:

    1. Procharger belt only takes about 15 minutes to change. I know that is 15 times longer than a stock belt, so maybe the hour was just an exaggeration to make a point.

    2. The oil in the SC unit is synthetic, and yes it does get hot. But so does the hot engine oil being cycled through a Vortech unit. My IAT's at cruise match ambient. A full WOT track run only gets 10*-20* above ambient. Of course I believe that is more a function of the IC than the oil, but either unit will be using hot oil for it's lubrication.

I do agree the air intake setup is a POS. And I do agree there aren't alot of people running these systems so there aren't alot of results...yet.

    Thanks,

    S.C.

  5. I am not one to write pages, so mine is short...

Don't for one moment second guess your value to us. Your and your brethren are doing work that cannot be measured in it's importance...not yet anyway. I and my family owe everything we have to you. Hell, you allow me to post this without someone coming to my door and beating me for it.

Keep your heads up (or down if needed) and GODSPEED.
