  1. Dang it....wish I still had the SSS!!! I still see it around town...makes me sad Can I bring my new 2500HD!!! Bigger boat needed a bigger truck.
  2. Well yall, its been fun but the SS has gotta go. Sat in the garage unused for the last six months. Realized all I do is tow the boat with it. I found a real nice home for her and she will get the respect she deserves. To replace I picked up a 08 2500 HD duramax! Thanks for all the tips tricks and general good times!!!

  4. Engine/Trans/front and rear diff Rebuild....then your golden. Your going to get about another 20K and your going to be leaking, prolly out a trans and either yoru front or rear diff will go. I would just rebuild it all now...or buy a new truck.

Um first, he prolly does make a 100K and second if you wanna buy a truck and get a deal get on the good side of the sales person. option #1 seems like the best deal...but I would be cautious buying a used SS from a dealer.   6. Soo. It might be time to get rid of the SSS...I know I know...But as life goes times change. Anyone been around the new Tahoe 1500 4WD LT3 Z71. Sticker is about 50K and wondering what I could expect to get that down to...looking to get every option.   8. not sure you really wanna openly admit that you have a stolen SUV at the house... Its not stolen, But the sticker was 40300 and before taxes and tags I got it down to 27800. which is about 13,500 off the sticker. Dang!!!!

  12. Still don't have the SSS back. Its been in the shop five weeks. This the dealers body shop too! After I waited three weeks for new doors and two front wheels and tires...the retards never thought to see what was wrong with the front end...so they decide to do that after I remind them it needs to be done and just like I told them five weeks ago I need a new steering box... Needless to say I am pissed I tired of driving my old jeep!!
  13. Hey all...I think this has been posted before. I want to add a amp and to 10's using the stock head unit. What is involved...Does the stock head unit have RCA's.
  14. So its a given people in Seattle can't drive. Coming around a corner on solid ice I see a ricer honda in the middle of the road heading rigt at me. Two choices 1. Head on the ricer (I was tempted) 2. Swerve and try and avoid the whole thing. I took option two...turned right....lost the back end...ABS..was going nuts..tried to use the AWD to power the front back around....no luck, tagged a parked Silverado right in side of the SS..curb broke the left front wheel , front axel and the side of the truck is f'd.. And something under the hood is f'd as well. Won't start. Going to the shop today. No one got hurt so that's good...LAME!

    New Muffler

    rather then spring for a whole cat-back. Can I just add a series 40 flowmaster muffler in place of the stock. I like the look of the stock tail pipe. Is there any reason I would not want to do this?

  19. I keep blowing my 15amp 12v power supply fuse. I am only charging my cell phone. I thought it might be a bad charger but it also blows when I plug th eipod in there. Anyone else have this problem?
  20. This is the third time this has happend. Dealer can't replicate so they just look at me funny. each time I have been turning right........ The pedal starts to vibrate, all the gauages shut down and the truck shuts off. However if you can't start it again with out shutting the key all the way off. This is really begining to tick me off. Any ideas?
