  1. 2003 Chevrolet Chevy Silverado SS 6.0L AWD Black with Dark Grey Leather 160,000 miles. Lowered 2 in front and 2 in rear, tinted windows LED lights (tail, 3rd brake, side marker, day time). Electronic brake controller, custom computer tune, Bose stereo with 3,000 watt subs all with 2 tone Flat Black over Gloss Black broke by a 1970 Mopar Sublime Lime Green pin stripe. Top of the line stock Chevy interior options. Custom all Stainless Steel dual exhaust.

    That is the nut shell.

Motor: Stock with the exception of a new custom tune computer. The new computer is a GM Factory OEM Delphi computer that was tuned by a pro-performance shop. I also have the original stock computer that will go with the truck. The new computer gets better gas mileage, and 40 more horse power when you touch the Tow/ Hall-ass mode. My cousin the master diesel mechanic for a large GM dealership here in town. All services were performed by him.

Front differential, rear differential, transfer case changed every year with synthetic oil. Overboard yes, but I am OCD with preventative maintenance. Oil changed every 3,000 miles by me, using AMS or Mobile 1 oil and Wix oil filters. Coolant system flushed last month.

Exhaust: dual catalytic mufflers into Magnaflow custom X pipe into dual stainless steel Magnaflow mufflers into 5 semi-truck turn down. Quiet in town, but growls when you put your foot into it. The 5 turn downs show 1 below the rear bumper and are hidden unless you look for them.

Paint: Stock GM gloss black with SEM Hot-Rod Flat Black over the top body line. The 2 tone paint is broke by a pin strip of 1970 Mopar Sublime lime green. The front air dams were sprayed GM gloss black as well as the rear tail lights. The 3rd brake light was painted flat black.

Stereo: The stock Bose Premium sound system is fantastic except for low frequency bass. I added 2 Sound Stream 1,400 amplifiers linked together with 1 single remote gain control. With a simple turn of a dial you can go from stock, to ROCKING!!!

Extras: Line-X spray in bed liner and Pace Edwards bed cover. The bed cover is like an aluminum garage door covered in black vinyl. You get the security of an aluminum cover and the looks of black fiber. Flush mount bed cover.

In-line DC circuit breaker for stereo, with illuminated valet switch hidden. 4-beam HI head light

GM Options: All of them. PL/PW, CD Cassette Bose, On-Star, keyless entry, Leather 6-way heated seats, 6-way power seats, power lumbar and side things, rear defrost, dual zone digital AC/ Heat controls, Class 5 hitch and I installed an electronic brake control. Locking differential with 4:10 grear ratio (rare).

I can take out the stereo, lowered suspension and the stock computer if you wish. All stock parts taken off of truck will go with the truck.

Owned the truck since early 2005, getting married….(dont want to sell, but must).

    Price is OBO at $15,000

  2. Looks good. Price seems a bit high though.

I'm sure you are right. But, just give me some time for the "realness" to sink in with me. I really hate to sell it, but I need a ring...

After reality sinks in for a bit, I am sure I will be more flexable with the price ;)

Anybody want to trade a TRUCK for a DIAMOND ring? Oh boy............

  4. if you dont mind sharing what did the paint job cost?

Just time. I shot it myself in a garage. Everything on my truck I did.

    Looks frickin' awesome.

But the amber headlights totally kill the look.

I might just have to do the old amber trick.

I would call it a bad paper cut in which your scared of blood and you pass out for a few minutes!! LoL I like the truck! maybe powder coat the lip of the rims!?!?!?!?!

Haha, I like where your head’s at!

looks sick, let's meet up sometime :pepsicheer:

    Hell yeah! For shiz!

The mustang is mine, and the others are friends/ customers that were done at the shop (garage).

Made the ground effects 1-piece and molded it into the wheel well. It’s all in the small details.

  5. do you have a problem with water spots? i heard that flatt black water spots bad? what kind of paint did you use?

SEM, Hot Rod Black, single stage. Zero and I mean ZERO maintenance! No spots, paint was shot in 2008 and ZERO chalk or fade. I take it through a gas station car wash and it comes out like it was new.

murdered out is EVERYTHING black, like your headlights, emblems, rims(everything)

    and no two tone,haha

Actually I did paint my headlights. I just hate the bug-eye look of this body style. Looks like a Hollywood cougar face lift gone horribly wrong! Why can’t “EVERYTHING“ black be a two tone black? As for the emblems I was thinking of shooting them gloss black and kinda do a throw back to the ’94-96 Impala. It will either be that or I am just going to shave them off.

Oh, and I was just joking about asking a web forum for kudos. I though most would pick that up with my “First attempted murder” line. I was just joking around man, just pulling yer leg.

wat kind of bed cover do u have??? i really like that style and will hopefully be getting one soon...

    -Rob

Pace Edwards. It is vinyl over aluminum roll back with lock and key. Water tight and I guess I am happy with it’s performance of 5 years or so.

  6. Ok if I didn’t get murdered, how about just stabbed then? Maybe a flesh wound, real nasty virus, a scar but a cool one like on the face that just screams DON”T F WITH ME, male pattern baldness, a flu just not the 24 hr one? Maybe a slip, trip and fall where I black out in a comma for 5 days and my dog runs away? Even a real nasty cramp when you are swimming without a life jacket or even better mountain biking with out a helmet. I mean throw me a bone here, even just a paper cut would boost my self-esteem after working/ spending all this money.

  7. thats not murderd out wheres the black rims and everything else

Yeah, I have to throw the new shoes on. But, I am scratching my head at your comment "everything else." By what do you mean? What left is there to blacken? All the tail lights and all the grey grills, even the bow-tie is back. I even painted parts of the headlights, and I can assure you that no light comes out of the painted part. Because I do drive my truck in the evening, I am reluctant to pait the rest of the headlights.

So besides the rims, that I know about. What else am I missing?

  8. forgot to make his mirrors flat black..

Looks pretty good.. would look alot better ALL flat black IMO.

cheers to making it his own

The mirors are flat black. The pictures do not do the truck justice...

Meh, I like it and said I would post up a few pics. I did think about going flat on the whole truck, but, I wanted to do something different. Not that flat back is not different. But, most would do the whole truck, now that would be too easy!

  9. I guy stopped me on the street yesterday and asked me to post pics. Thought I already did, but did a search and found nothing. Sorry I forgot you name, but as promised, here ya go!

    CIMG0687.jpg

Flat black 3rd tail light, gloss on the main brake lights.

    CIMG0624.jpg

Gloss black front end with an eyebrow over the head lights. The pin strip breaks up the flat/ gloss on the body line. The pin is 1970 Mopar Submile Lime Green.

  10. I have an exhaust tip that I am not using. I polished it, and it looks like new. It is about 18” long so there is enough material for you to do what ever you need it for.

$50 and I will ship it for free, standard ground shipping anywhere in US.

I do not check this site often, I’m sorry. So please call me on the phone if you would like to purchase my item.

    Thank you,

  11. So I have my stock SSS tip for sale. It has about 5" of round tubbing after the neck down for the wide opening. I have not measured it, but, I know it it longer than 1 foot long. More than enough to do what you need to do.

Please Please call my phone as I do not check the forum much.

$50 and I will ship it for free to where ever.
