  1. I have the black chrome version of your grill and had the crappy gray stock grill behind and it looked very bad. Painted the stock grill black yesterday and it turned out very nice. Used the Rustoleum black plastic paint. I'll post a pic once I get the Street Scene grill back on.
  2. Ever since I switched to Vista I've had some problems with this and a few other forums but glad the probs I've been having today were related to something other than my computer.
  3. I just bought the cladding without brackets from Posi12Bolt and after seeing this picture I'm a bit worried. Is the orange part a template you made or it that part of the bracket? And the long silver horizontal part is that part of the brackets as well? Where can I get this stuff from without the cladding? I might be able to fabricate the brackets is I had full scale drawings but this project is starting to look a little more daunting than I had planned on.
  4. $200 OBO and then whatever shipping costs etc. Would prefer to sell locally.
  5. 1 year old FIPK air intake kit for a Chevy Silverado 2004 (and other years) 5.3L engine. My truck was in a front end collision and when they truck was repaired the body shop ordered a brand new kit even though the original kit only had a bent metal air box housing which could have been bent back. If you have seen these kits you'll know this is no problem and literally needs only be bent back. It includes all parts including the important tube and filter. Cost almost $300 brand new. Will sell for $150 OBO Call or email Chris 503-704-1854
  6. 2004 Chevy Silverado 1500 Rear Chrome Bumper (will fit 2003 to 2006). It is in near perfect condition, and includes all brackets etc. Put an SS rear bumper on mine. I live in Portland, OR so shipping may not be possible. Call or email Chris 503-704-1854
  7. Are you frickin kidding me?!?!?!?! I paid $650 and had to have it shipped from CA to OR and that cost me another $180. It did include brackets etc though. But damn $250?!?!?!?
  8. Body guy called yesterday. The bumper was not out far enough. Guess they forgot a spacer or something so my 22's fit fine now. The fan housing is bigger than came stock in '04, guess there was a slight re-design for better air flow, so that's why the notch. They re-did the grill and it now looks right and is paint matched. Now they have to re-do the flames on the hood cause some muffed the powder before it dried and looked bad in one spot so I should have it back by Wednesday or Thursday. Thanks for the help guys. Citing this site made my body guy not even hesitate to get things right since it's a conversion not a straight repair to factory. Now I think I need to lower it...and find a frickin' 20" cheep spare. I'm tired of monkeying with the that when I swap out wheels for snow and rough weather in the mountains.
  9. Dropped it off again today. Yesterday was the 3 month anniversary of my crash so it suck to send it back but he agreed something ain't right and they will fix it. This time they have all 4 22's to put on it. They'll also re-do the grill.
  10. It did have some minor frame damage on the front passenger side frame rail where it connected to the bumper but that was repaired. (the attached picture shows the drivers side end of the frame rail as an illustration of what the passenger side one looks like) They had it up on the frame machine for a couple of days with the lasers and everything checking it out and both my insurance guy and body shop guys were crawling over every inch of the frame for days making sure there was nothing else. Called my body guy tonight and I'm taking it back in tomorrow. Made a long list of every little thing cause it should be perfect after almost $12,000 in repairs!
  11. You and me both. I'm thinking/hoping maybe the fan shroud is bigger than before but not holding my breath. With the amount of reconstruction my baby required I'm a little worried they screwed up big time of some measurements.
  12. Ok, here are some pics. With the wheel turned the 20's are millimeters away from the front bumper and the 22's hit the second I turn the wheel even slightly. The center piece seems to be off to me. Sticks out too far and sits closer to the bottom than the top. There is still bumper cover going back under the lights and grill. On other SS's does the cover end even with the outer edges of the lights etc? This difference may account for hitting the 22's.
