Never once did i say i was going to race in my ram i simply said it was faster, maybe you should learn to read and stop assuming.

I was wondering the same thing. i was looking for an old thread but nothing is there. im guessing everything was lost when the forum switched over to its current format. Hemiramon22s was for my 2004 dodge ram i had when i joined the forum. Even though i no longer have it, its the same handle i use on every forum.

With a super chips canned 93 tune, mid length headers, cutouts, and an intake my buddies rumble bee went 14.2 on street tires. With better tires and a custom tune it would of went 13.9x no problem.

There is no way in h*** a stock 5.3 in any configuration will beat a 5.7 rcsb. I have 3 chevys right now. 1 - 2009 5.3 ECSB 4wd (its a pig) and 2 - 2500 6.0 4wd (i can walk faster). I have 3 dodges right now too. A 05 RC 2wd daytona, a 2013 5.7 8 speed ram and a 2014 5.7 8 speed ram. Both are CC and 4wd. A brand new 14 rcsb 2wd 5.7 8 speed ram will run 13.9 off the showroom floor. There is a guy running 13.3s in his with a tune and exhaust. There is a guy with a 14' CC 2wd running 14.0 with a tune only. So dont be mad when one of them drags you down the highway. I had an 06 SSS 2wd and they arent all that. maybe low 15s bone stock. I'm talking off the lot bone stock except the cummins I've seen some fast cummins all done up but stock to stock a 5.3 scsb will take a scsb 5.7 hemi any day I dont think the dodge has the power they claim I test drove one and it was a dog maybe the new ones are fast but in the last 15 years they never were everyone I know bought them for the looks and that's it never seen one that was fast except the viper stock and done up cummins

There are a ton of fast dodge trucks. You just havent ran into any of them. The problem is any idiot with a programmer and exhuast thinks he has a race truck. Chevy guys in my area are the same way.

Im pretty sure i was just making small talk and then someone wanted to call me out. fyi i sold my truck last year and ive been a memeber of this site long before many of you.

A 5.7 will walk the dog on a chevy 5.3 all day every day. So they have been faster for the last 11 years. 3 of my buddies have a 6.2. id be glad to drag another one down the street ;) They are pretty slow. But since you want to bring your race truck out to play i can bring mine right?

haha. which hemi do you want to race? i raced a forum memeber here years back in my 04 with just a tune and exhuast. We were dead even to 100 on 3 races. i had a 2006 silverado SS and i can tell you bone stock my 14' ram is faster then it.

For the most part they run in the 14s with bolt ons. Guys with cam/heads/stall can run well into the 13s and 12s on motor alone. The new 2014 with the 8 speed in a Crew Cab 2wd is running 14.0 with just a tune.

it looks like any other bone stock silverado ss intimidator edition. if it wasnt raining id pull it outside and wipe it down and snap some pics but it hasnt stopped raining here for weeks.

Selling my 06 Intimidator SS. Its 2wd with all the options. my dodge ram is no longer with us (RIP).... i replaced it with a srt8 jeep grand cherokee. also picked up an 06 silvy SS 2wd black intimidator edition. 4400 miles. its pure sex.

i raced an auto version and smoked him pretty easily from a dig or a roll. ran up to 90 and i put 5-6 lenghts on him.
