The police were called,right now i am waiting to hear from the officer that arrived on the scene to see what my next step would be to take.I am convinced the owner of the landscaping co. is trying to avoid me so i guess its off to small claims court.The police officer i talked to today said the driver of the truck broke about motor vehicle codes and he apperantly was arrested,i guess time will tell.

I wasnt trying to sound racist or anything i was just trying to state that when police were called they informed me that the driver didnt have a legal license in the states only a mexican drivers license.

Hey fellas on 4/20 i was in a minor accident,I was 1/2 a car lenght behind a landscaping truck and we were both stopped at a red light when this guy puts the truck in reverse and backs into me causing a small puncture in my front bumper approx.1000.00 bucks in damage.Here is my problem the driver only had a mexican driver license and the truck owner who is also mexican didnot have the truck registered or insured since 2006.I have talked to the truck owner once but he says the estimate is to high,keep in mind i did not include a price for car rental for a day or two while the car is in the shop.My problen now is the guy has moved and not left a forwarding number or address,if this guy tries to stiff me what could i do to try and cover myself and get my car repaired,could i take him to small claims court,should i call the dmv and explain things to them?this truck and his driver were totally illegal and should not have been on the road,any advice would be appreciated as i dont want to get stuck with this tab.

I just barely caught a glance at the trailer,not the car,but a buddy of minesaid the sobe guys were hammering on the car in theparking lot a few months ago when they picked it up,they told him it has a 502 which is what boyd seems to stuff in all his cars.I need to talk to one of my old bosses who works for sobe now and try and get a good look at the car,when and if i do i will post picks,btw the sobe web sight has a contest to try a guess what type of car boyd built.

Guys help me decide,i saw a 68 vette the other day for just under 15k,looks to be mostly original and it would be a starter vette and an investment as i understand that you really cant loose money on clean vette.opinions are very welcome.sorry forgot to give you some pics,btw its a 327,4 speed car.

I might be late on this post but driving into the office the other day that sobe is also based out of i saw a barand new quigley 4x4 conversion van hooked to a new enclosed car trailer that had a picture of what looked like a 61-61 chevy or buick wagon with the boyd name on the side,now i watch the show but never saw this car being built.Did i miss the build or is it comming out this season?.

Montana,the lid looks good,i to just put mine on and removed the ARE lid my truck came with and what a huge difference in the way the truck looks.

Hey guys sorry for the late notice but i just remembered the annual car show in my town will be held tommorow in Norwalk,Ct. there will be lots of classic cars to check out,but i was wondering if any member ever made the show before or will be attending this sunday the 29th so that we could hang out and shoot the breeze,let me know.

I just had my emmisions done in Ct. 2 weeks ago,now my exhaust is just like AUTOGUY's which consists of 2 magnaflows exiting in front of my reartires and its loud!!!.The testers pulled my truck in and not even 5 min.later was told you are done and passed with flying colors i was like wtf i thought for certain they would bust my balls about the exhaust set up but i'm good,i just drove around for 1/2 houjr to 45min,i say go for it you'll be o.k.
