i think its the sh*t

from what ive heard...the detroit filters are lasting ALOT longer than cummins... CUmmins is a joke....they get away with all of these repairs not being warranty because "filters are a maintenance item" etc etc DPF filter costs around 3k with a core charge that is NO GOOD no matter what....the catalyst is about 1500-2500 bucks and they crack like crazy....Doser injectors being getting carbon build up and must be cleaned and retested and they usually over flow so they fail the troubleshooting tests... the customer cant win....we have replaced the Catalyst, DPF filter,doser injector and turbo WITH NEW along with a new flex pipe on exhaust system......15,000 miles later they'll be right back down with a 1691 fault code due to DPF problems......customer bitches me out....but its a non workmanship issue....so its not the dealers fault.....Cummins says its not their fault.....so therefore the customer gets SCREWED!!!!

nice i see it all the time.....a few years ago one of the mechanics in the shop i work at dropped a Cummins ISX block and cracked it. the block alone was over 20 grand. we just installed our FSX DPF cleaning machine....cost us about 85,000 installed and plumbed.....its sweet to play with though....emissions are costing trucking companies big $$$$$$$$

im speechless....if it wasnt for the 427 TT setup in the SS....i'd rather have the diesel than the SSS....but thats not the case! very nice toys

i missed having a truck! thats pretty much the only reason....the tahoe was very nice...all black on black...they gave me more for my tahoe than what i paid for it...the avy had half the miles the hoe had and also another year and half of bumper to bumper warranty

alright guys its been awhile....as some of you may know....my SSS was wrecked a little over a year ago.....i had it fixed and traded it off for a 07 black tahoe.....and then traded that in for this avlanache 2007 avalanche LTZ its got the side steps,back up camera,on star,rear flip down monitor for the back seat etc etc only 25K miles when i got it in November of 09 i hate these tires on this truck...i will be purchasing some 35" toyo M/T's soon... i know its not an SS but atleast i stayed chevy eh?? ( crappy iphone pic) ill get better ones soon

they both look amazing...its been awhile since ive been on here so its awesome seeing the progress of every ones truck in the past year.... where did you get them black emblems?i like the black better than the chrome. i have a 07 white LTZ avalanche now with a 6" lift and black 20's. oh and gotta love the back up camera. shit...gotta love LTZ period.

i beleive its an LT2 it has the 3rd row bucket seats with seat heaters. doesnt have rear dvd,20s or power step. but i love it

well guys i never thought i could let it go...but i have....signed the papers friday afternoon. it was time. the truck had 49,500 miles on it. been wrecked twice etc etc. yes i miss it already but i am liking the tahoe more and more everyday. ill always have a passion for these trucks and that will never change. the tahoe is black on black 4WD has every option except stock 20s and navi. ( i already have a dvd player and plan on getting black 24's-so no need ) no pics as its all stock so im sure you guys can imagin.....no tint that will soon change.

same here....went to bed mon night WITH power...woke up tuesday morning and had nothing. we got over 3 inches of ICE. there was a few deaths. (mostly due to morons leaving charcoal grills burning inside there house) but a few people died from trees landing on them. there was a guy getting gas at a gas station and the whole entire roof (that covers the pumps to keep them from getting wet) fell ontop of him and car. the guy was a illeagle hispanic from mexico and had left a 3 month old baby at home BY THERESELF!!! IDIOT!! be lucky if you got snow.....because ice is DEF not fun.
