  1. This one I have is like brand new. I only used it for two months. It was great most of the time. When I used my truck to haul my race car in my enclosed trailer it was too loud going up the long grades, so I went back to stock. I have the Outlaw intake tube, filter box and all of the hardware (instructions too).

  2. Here is a link to a video of me racing 12'SROCK. This was the last day at the track before replacing my worn out tires. Yes this means it was time to abuse the old tires. If you pay attention, right before I start my burnout a mustang pulls right up behind me, then he disapears. I heard from someone standing behind us that they saw his back up lights come on through the smoke and as he was backing up he was also running his windshield wipers. I hope he had some really good washer fluid.

The people who shot the video have a website. If you register on their website and let them know that you will be at the Fontana Street Legal Drags they will video your car and post it on their website. Pretty Cool!!!!!

Here is a link to their website.

    12'SROCK vs 10'SROCK VIDEO

Their videos are usually not so dark. It had rained earlier in the day and we were surrounded by dark clouds and it was getting kinda late and the track still doesn't have lights. Don't forget to look for the Mustang behind me, too funny!!!!!

  3. Do to a low vehicle count, we are being asked to pay an addittional $50 to make this event happen. I already sent in my addittinal $50, it will be well worth it for the amount of runs we will be able to make. The event will either happen or it will get cancelled if not every one pays the extra fifty dollars. Below is what I received in an e-mail.

    " Hello Racers,

As you may know, the Nov. 30th may get cancelled because of a low turn out. Several of you suggested that they are willing to pitch in for the difference and make the event happen. If we take this option, we need everyone's commitment, and we need to get it done before Nov. 20th. This way, if everyone is not in agreement, we can still cancel the event with the track and get our deposit back, so we can issue everyone a full refund.

At this point, we have 47 people signed up, and we are confident that we'll get at least a few more before our deadline (Nov. 20th). We are asking everyone to pitch in an additional $50 to cover the difference. If we don't get everyone to commit by Nov. 20th, we will cancel the event and issue everyone a full refund by Nov. 23rd.

In the event we meet the minimum of 75 participants, we will issue everyone a refund for the additional payment of $50. Otherwise, we will only take whatever funds necessary to meet the minimum, and we will issue the difference to everyone. All refunds will be issued on 12/05/07.

Please send your $50 additional payment via your PayPal account to ([email protected]). We will put a red dot next to your name on the Driver List the day we receive your additional payment. DO NOT send your payment through our website, because that sign up option is only for new registration (fee have been raised to $150). If you don't have a PayPal account, please reply back to this email and let us know what email address we should use, and we will send you a "payment request" via email.

Thank you and we hope everyone can make this event happen.

    CHASE,

The car count is still low. You need to sign up and spread the word to others.

If it doesn't hit 75-Vehicles it will be cancelled and we will get refunds.

I don't want a refund though. I want to do testing and tuning.

As for nitrous, I can likely refill your bottle. Is your bottle fitting 6AN or 4AN? nitrouskt5.gif

  5. Fontana Dragway Private Track Rental. Friday November 30th, 2007.

If you are interested in going to this, You need to sign up before Nov. 20th.

I have been to these events and have been able to get 20+ runs in.

The staging lanes usually don't get very full (lots of runs).

If you don't like to wait 3-hours between runs, this is for you.

Great opportunity for anyone who is tuning.

Click here for more info or to sign up.

  6. good to see your still around mike, hows my camaro doing?

The Camaro is apart. I sold the engine that was in it and I am building a new one. It should be back together soon. I have been racing the Vega alot. The final PSCA race is the weekend of November 17th.

Click here, You should go to this event. Great place for tuning, you get lots of runs. I am already signed up.

  7. its funny how he keeps holding the throttle when he's hitting the wall  and even after he hits it, he's still mashing on the gas. he was throttle happy alright! the guy he was racing would of put a beatin on him anyway, that thing got out of the hole quick.

How do you know he was holding the throttle that long?

All I can hear is the loud car in the right lane. :dunno:

  8. Roll Bar:

All vehicles with an OEM frame must have roll bar welded or bolted directly to the frame (not the floor).

Cross Bar and rear braces must be welded to the main hoop. Etc.....

Get an NHRA Rule book and/or Call NHRA for more specifics.

  9. Congratulations to RacerJJ for being awarded a "Wally" for his victory at "The Last Race at LACR". Most NHRA Drag Racers only dream of being able to win a "Wally". The "NHRA WALLY" is the most sought after award a drag racer can receive. For John (aka Racer JJ) this Wally will be added to his collection, yes I said collection. John has received several "Wallys" for his achievements. John has not been Drag Racing for very long, but his driving skills and dedication are really paying off big.

Los Angeles County Raceway has closed its doors for operation, which means SoCal has lost another Drag Strip. Before LACR closed its doors they had one last race, hence "The Last Race at LACR".

  10. This coming weekend (July 7th & 8th), we have a Summit Series Race at "Auto Club Dragway at California Speedway" (aka - Fontana Track). I am doing fairly well in the points standings, so I kinda have to be there.

Pretty much anyone can race at these Summit Series bracket races, so if any of you want to give racing a try instead of just going to test n tunes, bring it.
