Where can I find a header gasket for my 04 ss. Everyone I call for one says they cant even find the engine to match up the header gasket. Or they want to know all these stupid measurements. please help

they have been shut down for the holiday season. they are directing all calls to the web site right now. so maybe i will here something after the new years.

Hey a GP would be great if we could get it, true. I work in retail so I will call them on monday and see what I can gather. All us fails I will still pay full price for one anyways. It would just be nice to get a deal. We will see.

Are you serious. They told me that the SS has sport braking. For smoother braking. They said they were called hydraboost brakes. My pops has a 2004 2500HD duramax and I believe he has hydraboost brakes.

It seems like it has always been like that. The truck always comes to a stop, it just feels mashpotatoe like. That was another good description. The service advisor and I both took a ride and he said that it braked fine and that he would have drive another SS just to be sure. But both times they resurfaced my rotors and cleaned my pads. They were a little glazy they said(brake pads).

I have had my truck into my dealer twice now because the stock brakes just seem a lttle spongy like. I was told that, that the hydrobusted sport brakes are suppost to respond that way. It just doesn't feel right when I am at a stop and the peddle pretty much goes to the floor with no resistance at all. I have had a couple people take it for a test drive to get their opinion on the brakes and they also thinks it brakes funny. The dealer say they are working fine. So my question is does anyone have the same kind of braking response on there stock hydrobusted brakes.

what would you recommennd? Do you like the way your truck performs with the zippy tune?

Has anyone read about the FAST Fuel Management System. I am thinking about purchasing this as a full stand alone for my 04SS. I have read a lot about it and it seems like it has everything to offer from spark to nitrous control. Plus there is a tuner here locally in indy who is fluent in this system. http://www.fuelairspark.com that is the web site. I don't know how to add links yet.
