hi i have a 97 tahoe, recently i had a rod berring go out and i "was" planning on rebuilding the motor, but then i got to thinking about buying a motor out of wreched one.... but what about the option of a 5.3..? has anyone done this? i personally think its a better motor, same power more fuel efficient. so if someone has done this what does it all take, or what would it take...? i really would like to put one of these motors in my tahoe, that or a 6.0 out of a escalade . any help would be greatly apprecitated

We are installing some aftermarket speakers (Rockford Fosgate) in my buddy's '01 GMC Sierra... we are wondering which color is positive and which is negative.... they are door speakers, the ones on the Passenger side are green and dark green and the ones on the DS are Brown and Gray... Thanks in advance!
