  1. whats a maro? I got approved for Subaru Exec. VIP pirchase, I am a design engineer and we do some work for them. I can get a new one around $31g. I am being told that all of the Limited STI's are goen - Thats really the one I want.......................
  2. Well, with the recent spike in gas prices around the lakes area where I live I am thinking bout trading the SS in................I love the truck but am tired of pumping over $200 a week in gas. Went and drove a new STI and was pretty impressed with the performance! Drove a Limited WRX though and it was alot nicer on the insied: Leather, heated seats where the STI looks terrible on the inside and was not near as comfortable............... Anybody out there have an STI?
  3. Skate board ramp for a top........ Thats funny! Good way to put it
  4. Sweet looking car - I love the body on those, spliced one onto a 93 Z28 subframe with a friend once - kept camaro gages and consol, seats and steering wheel, just put the camino on the subframe basically and it was awesome. Just everybody that liiked at just thought we stuffed a lt1 in it and never appreciated it for what it really was. Drove really great and was alot of fun..................

  9. Pretty simple math, It isn't wierd its just math!
  10. I like the crack in the front bumper, might just be the light but t looks like a crack. The bumper sticks out so much prolly hit every curb!
  11. Everyone complains about gas prices, but I have never heard anybody say "Well it's our own fault, yes It's us the american voters - we put an oil baron in as president and were suprised gas prices went up!" Pretty stupid - the american voters asked for it! And they got IT! What pisses me off the most is here in indiana we pay like $0.38/gal road tax but our roads are shitty, they claim we don't have the money to fix them and we just sold our tool road - WHERE IS THE MONEY! Too many politicians have skimmed it off the top. Too many asphault companies have received kickbacks and have made their families rather wealthy off not properly constructing roads to guarentee future work cause they know that tax will always be there to line thier pockets! We can send people to the moon, but we can't make a road that is smooth and lasts - well we can we just choose not to! They fill the holes but 2-3 days later they are right back to holes - WASTE OF MY TAX MONEY. But for some reason unbenonced me we keep throwing it away. Well tha county road employees love it - easy money. Most of the road crews are union and even the people holding the signs make over $20/hour. I could see paying that if these people were experts at making roads but i feel they have prooved that they are incompetent and can't make even a smooth road - so why pay a professional price for less than satisfactory road quality! If the roads were smoother, flatter, and did not have holes everyones miles/gallion would go up. Road roughness affects the rolling resistance of a vehicle - the EPA fights for auto makers to make "Cleaner engines" and subsidizes most of these programs. If we took out a few stop signs, put some thought into traffic flow when designing our infastructure the whole country's oil consumption could be drastically reduced. But that would take work on the part of the government, well they are lazy so they just pawn it off on the auto makers? Is this fair? When the properties of the infastructure are partially responsible for excess waste in fuel? Just my 2 cents - probably just my distorted thoughts......

  14. I use the GNC mega whey, it works pretty good. I am not trying to get big though, just stay cut @ 150 lbs.
  15. Great stuff! Smart arse smart people!
  16. From what I have learned, If you try to argue with stupid people they will drag you down to their level and beat u with their experience there. IMO just let stoopid be stoopid - It's alot easier! Someone who will not take the time to listen, will never learn and therefore is doomed! "Get the facts first, then you can distort reality as you please" - Thomas Edison
  17. What flavor was the wrap - I did bout the same thing minus the hobo. Caught a bunch of crappie too - they were all over 14" and I got alimit of 25. And they were good eatin for dinner!
  18. Why do they call it a tow truck when it aint haulin toes?
  19. That's the best place to ride, I used to go every year for spring break when I was in college. Didn't get to go this year. I have been to the buckhorn, timberview, tug hill. Any of you happen to know adam beyer or chris roes? (Both lowville locals I know) I miss riding there - michigan trails just don't compare!!!
  20. Seen them go over from wind gusts on the flow in upstate newyork before! It can be done, its just like playing with fire. The new skidoo is pretty fast out of the box, but no way will it hit 130 with a 1.25" track and studs (too much resistance and the increase in rotating mass from the studs eats that top end). I have no doubt on asphault it can prolly get 130 in a quater though - they make a ton of power! (Team ski-doo XPS was running like 128 in 1000 ft with their mod 1000 in the grass and they were having trouble keeping it down of the line this year. But I am with you, give me a snotty 600 with a "Scott Hunt" clutch setup and let the fun begin! When I started with my 600, stock it would get bout 110 mph. Today with picks, 1.375" track, porting, head work, free flow exhause, clutched and an aggresive helix it wont run much over 95 but its power form the line to about 85 is amazing - still miss the mod sled though. I hate running on the lakes with those apex's and those darn old tripples that are worked, i'd regear but that isn't as much fun on the trail and on the jumps. You ever hear of D&D Powersports in Lowville, NY? They build some pretty bad machines, my roommate in college is cousins to Danny and Dale that own it. They have some really great peoplw who live to build nasty machines........
  21. Umm.... Unless your sleds are lowered and setup for ice, the 130 mph is kind of hard to believe. They tend to have enough lift at those speeds to go over. But remember that the speedo on a sled at least 10 - 15 off a radar or GPS run. Most of the Mod sleds i have rode peter out about 125 but get there lickity split. Last season I had a D&D 1147 twin in my cat and the only thing that beat me at the drags was a crankshop tripple in a skidoo and a supercharged apex that was cranked way down and had diggers everywhere u could put one in the track.
