  1. You're not baggin on this are you Brian? take a fukin day off and haul your ass to kc? It'll be worth it.
  2. Gonna head over to shauns in kc for a few beers/BBQ/and maybe see if Amanda will take her top off!! Jus kiddin Shaun. Really, just get together to shoot the shit and hang for awhile. Gonna pick up in Topeka and whoever else is in. Lots of newbies we'd like to meet in the area and we're just looking for an excuse. Post up if interested.
  3. I'm on my 5th one for various reasons.....high miles, changed my mind, engine fire, was gonna trade for a more family friendly vehicle and now on this one. I can't get away from them even when it starts on fire. Had 03-05. Basically the same with a few minor exceptions. Lots of fun to throw money and time at. I doubt you'll regret it, but you never know til you jump in. Lots of great info on this site will help you a ton. Whether its modding, appearance, off the wall changes, small repairs and oil changes on up to total rebuilds, you'll find someone here that knows all about it and will probably be happy to help. Good luck. As long as you don't buy in upside down to start, its hard to go wrong with one of these.
  4. I like the way you do things Shaun. I don't remember getting an invite, bitch. Can't wait to see what you get. Gary and i are getting plans for the 2nd so stock your fridge !
  5. Great to have you back in Kansas Gary !! Now, a few of us need to get together for a show and shine and throw a few back. I'll be talking to you soon . BTW, i'm really diggin the s10. That'll be interesting to see.
  6. I love em ! But I'd never put em on. Except to take a pic. I just had mine powder coated and they look to good to put on a daily driver. Nice work Brian, with emphasis on work.
  7. Word of advice, if Shaun starts sayin anything about tummysticks, I'd hit the gas !
  8. I've been working on this mod too but it's pretty expensive and my wife doesn't think I need it. Sheeeet!!
  9. I've had a truck with Belltech spindles, DJM hangars/shackles and Street performance shocks. I now have an SS with Mcgaughys and nitro shocks. Honestly, i think it's a matter of 'dialing' it in, but so far, this is the best ride i've had and it's a 2/4 drop with helper bags for when i tow the boat. What will help you decide to blow money, and a lot of it, will be to get together with a few of us 'local' guys and see what everyone has. I'm gonna try to get to KC in Sept to see some of the guys over there. Let us know where you are and what you're up to and maybe we can have a mini-get together late summer.
  10. Welcome to the site. I'm in manhattan. Same thing. Black 07 TBSS (grocery getter) and my 04 SSS. Lemme know if you're ever in the area.
  11. Good for you. The only thing better than one gun is more guns. Lemme know if it falls through. I'll be happy to take that off ur hands.
  12. Sent you a pm. Did you end up trading it ?
  13. Just upper ball joints with moog and $325 plus an alignment. According to kckid, do it urself and save some coin. Wish I wouldve had the time.
  14. Wish i would've talked to you first Ben. Anyway, got it done. Probably wouldn't have found time to do it anytime soon anyway. But, what a difference it made. Feel like i have a new front end under it.
  15. Here's an update i got today. One place told me they can replace just the ball joints but you need a press to do it. An actual dealership in a close-by small town will replace w/ moog ball joints....just the ball joints. Labor and parts around $320. A local in-town asshat GM certified shop at a car stealership says you can only replace the arms. Total cost over $700. When i pressed them on the matter, he said, "well i guess GM is saying you can't just replace the ball joints." Bottom line, find a shop that will do just ball joints. I get so sick of dealership shops not telling the whole story, but then again, i'm sure its because i just don't understand.
  16. Sorry but I need to whore out your thread. I've changed spindles so I can turn a wrench but wouldn't say I know what I'm doing by any means. Is this a fairly easy DIY? If so, is there a how-to somewhere or can anyone walk me thru it? Stay with factory parts or aftermarket and are there any other related repairs I should consider while in the area ? Sorry CM2677. Hope I'm not steppin in too much.
  17. My first look was "i'm not so sure", but i can't quite coming back to look at them. They really look great on that car. Nice choice! To me it seems that sometimes it's not what i would expect to look good that ends up looking the best. You guys keep buying these cars doin shit to them gets me really interested in doing the same. BTW, can a car seat and two booster seats fit in the back?
  18. Ok then..... all i have is a coulple of ipods, an itouch, a macbook 13" and the iphone. Soon to be a high end desktop mac for the wifes photography biz. Love the products because they're so easy to use. Love the iphone, but can't emphasize how much i HATE AT&T in my area.
  19. Dammit i wish you were willing to trade when i still had the wheels. Never heard back from you on the 30/30 either. No big deal tho. How much ammo will you throw in on this deal?
